Hey there! We are in fact trying to push out a fix for this ASAP. Currently, upon defeating Lagon, you should unlock the waypoint in Soreth’Ka, which is the next step in the main quest, and allow it to automatically progress to this next step.

Hey there! Thank you for reporting this, and sorry about that! I’ve made an adjustment to our system based on how it read your message. Also to note: The system does not issue any sort of mutes or bans, it just blocks the one message. We’re also making an adjustment to the text for the automated response to make it not nearly as aggressive. You can also use the phrase “!badbot” to automatically flag something for review if it’s not clear what in the message was being caught.

We are aware of this and have been discussing it every day to see what we can do alongside other high priority items.

From what we can see, it’s related to how the ISP is routing traffic to our servers, which isn’t something we can change on our end. We are however still investigating it to see if there’s something we can do on our end. We have provided the wireshark trace to our backend team to see if that can help them. If it is how the ISP is routing things through their network, the only thing that can change that is with user feedback to them.

Again, we are still discussing this and looking into it internally. The most helpful information right now would be information on what the ISP is saying when reached out to regarding the connection issue to the servers.

We have only actually not been issuing many mutes - those that have received mutes were warned beforehand. We are investigating this issue, and believe it is related to the matchmaking issues we’re currently working on. Basically - The chat client is attempting to send a message, and not getting a response from the server, so it’s assuming that it got blocked for profanity and issuing that response. We’re working on getting this resolved, as well as making the current warning a little less extreme.

I just want to clarify Critical Vulnerability:

Critical Vulnerability is a debuff on the enemy, not a buff to your character. This means that it does not take into consideration your stats to modify it. It adds the flat crit chance after all other crit chance calculations.

In a given situation, if you have 10% base crit chance, and 100% increased chance to critically strike, and are striking an enemy which has ten stacks of Critical Vulnerability on it, Your resulting crit chance would be 40%.

Want to also mention in a comment:

We’ve added a “Changes and Additions” section to the patch notes, which will cover any updates to the patch notes (aside from typo fixes). At the current time this includes the following:

  • Added section for Dread Shade
    • Dread Shade can only be cast on your minions, not allies minions.
    • Symbiotic Apparition now causes Dread Shade to affect you, but not other party members.
  • Added section for Leaderboards
    • Leaderboards will be unavailable during 0.9 and will be returning 0.9.1

It is not. As it’s a combo skill, cooldowns can’t work the same way with Javelin.

Because it’s such a long post, it can depend a bit on how much your browser can remember. The links should add the correct link to the browser - if it doesn’t actually remember where that header was, you can hit enter on the url, and it will re-load the page to go to that link. In the future, we want to have better landing pages for patch notes which will avoid this memory limitation (though these patch notes being so long is also a bit of an exception :wink: )

As we move towards our 1.0 release, we aim to make offline mode truly offline. This means offline mode will not be able to support things such as the MTX store - as that would require internet connections for verifications and purchases. It’s possible we may find a way to have purchased MTX work in offline mode, though currently is unlikely in order for offline mode to be the true offline we want it to be.

In patch 0.9 you will finally be able to play Last Epoch online. You will now be able to create online characters and party with up to 3 friends as you play through all of the game’s content.

  • Partying: To play with a friend at any time, simply add them to your friends list (hotkey: H or right-click in chat), and invite them to a party. When they join, right-click their icon, and select Portal to Player.
  • Other Players: Only players in your party will be able to join the same zone instances as you, so you will not randomly run into strangers in Eterra.
  • Towns: Skills are not able to be used in towns in preparation of future town fun...
