It’s not going to be on the same innovation scale as things like the item factions but we do have a very slightly different way of doing this planned. I don’t think it needs to be quite as much to be successful though.

We have very extensively considered this option. We will not be using it at launch but we will be keeping a very close eye on feedback throughout the launch.

I haven’t attempted to implement it myself so I can’t get into the specific technical detail that prevents this. We have attempted to implement this a couple times and there is an issue that we hit with how the game, engine and operating system interact that there is no way to modify the cursor image at all within that build. So we can’t modify the size, shape or sprite at all.

Sorry to prompt this but I’m gonna need to see the tape on that because I am skeptical if I actually said that. I remember this and I may have said it could be a bad look but I am really careful not to commit to anything like that.

This is unsupported by the version of the engine that we are currently using. It will not be added for 1.0 in February.

Well, I don’t personally believe it needs one. When we last looked at the problem and decided to add the item, that’s what we agreed upon as the solution. I don’t want to speak for everyone on if that was successful or not but we do read the feedback which is never irrelevant. I haven’t read anything in this thread that has swayed me yet.

Spriggan Form will not receive a dedicated movement skill in Feb with patch 1.0. I don’t say this to stop the discussion or feedback but more to temper expectations.

The vertical game distance displayed at max zoom out is the same regardless of resolution or screen size. The ratio of width to height will determine how much horizontal game distance is displayed so ultra wide monitors do see more left/right stuff.

We have no intentions of adjusting the max zoom out distance.

This mechanical (not QOL) change is something I think that will really help with switching builds, it will help with getting your initial blessings a little bit but not too much.

We actually tested this option of a dedicated movement skill a couple years ago. We decided that having your movement skill as part of your build and the decision of if you should have one or not was a good thing to have in the game.

As for the initial suggestion of 2 more skill bar slots, 1.0 will not have it. Post launch, it would take a pretty big shift internally to cause it to happen. We really like the 5 skill limit a lot.

You’ve just essentially described the Circle of Fortune item faction but added a blessings middle man.

Also, we are going to make it so you can switch between previously discovered blessings instead of needing to farm it again.
