Please ensure you have the Steam overlay enabled. That should sort it.

We suspect this is due to server performance issues, which we are working on, so I hope you’ll notice a reduction in this error in time. I apologise I’m not able to provide any immediate solutions.

Please could you include a crash report, or alternatively your console logs + darktide_launcher.log?

I’m sad to say we are still looking in to this. I understand this is not ideal, so I’m happy to help with a refund if you would prefer.

Regrettably, we are still working on this. I’m happy to help with a refund should you rather take that option, as I understand Darktide has been unplayable for you.

Sorry for the delay on this. Are you able to briefly connect your PC to a mobile hotspot, to see if the issue persists whilst under another connection?

I understand this isn’t always an option.

Got it. Try reinstalling your GPU drivers:

Could you try disabling the NVIDIA overlay? You should be able to do this inside GeForce Experience → Settings → ‘General’ → ‘In-Game Overlay’

I believe this is mod-related, but I’m not sure which due to the log being truncated. You might have to do a process of elimination.

Apologies for the delayed response here. I understand our Backend Engineer was looking in to a similar issue, and I’ve queried what the current status of it is. I will report back to you once I’ve received a response.

This does appear to be crashing in the NVIDIA driver. Please perform a clean re-installation of your drivers using the instructions below:

Thank you for keeping us updated, I’m pleased to hear that!

It would be super if you could upload the entirety of the darktide_launcher.log (which happens to print everything in the user_settings.config and a bit more).

There is a small Linux community here - like the knowledgeable ggg above - who I hope will be able to help with this. Unfortunately we’re not able to dedicate any resource to investigating Linux-related issues at this time.

I have recently spoken to another Linux player who had to update Steam, in addition to the OS, to resume playing after running in to networking errors. I don’t know whether this could be of any relevance to you.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Out of interest, could you tell me which Firewall you’re using?
