Sorry to hear this. Is this a persistent error for you or a one-time occurrence, and are you able to start a new session by now?

Could you check if there’s any updates available for your sound drivers?:

‘Device Manager’ → ‘Sound …’ → Right-click your audio output → ‘Properties’ → ‘Driver’ → ‘Update Driver’

Hmmm it might be something only we can change on a sitewide scale.
