Hi @ttonex,

Can I please confirm if you have completed both the level Dark Omens and Weave 1?

There is an inconsistent issue with the Amulet not appearing, however the data I would normally change in the backend to unlock this for your account doesn’t appear to be present - so it may be you need to complete both of the above first.

@Valorean, we have another update on the beta_launcher to try.

Firstly, please can you ask your friend to do the following -

  1. Ensure Steam is run without Administrator permission
    -1. Right-click the desktop Steam.exe icon
    -2. Select ‘Properties’
    -3. Select the ‘Compatability’ tab
    -4. Make sure the ‘Run this program as administrator’ checkbox is not selected
    -5. Select ‘OK’

  2. Delete the launcher folder in the Vermintide 2 directory, here:
    \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2

  3. Open Steam and verify integrity of game files
    -1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
    -2. Select ‘Properties’

@Valorean, thanks the info! This has given our developer a bit of a lead.

They are currently working on a potential fix that we can push to the beta_launcher later for your friend to test. I’ll let you know once this is available for your friend to try :slight_smile:

Hi @anomba,

Sorry to hear this. Has there been any changes to your network recently, that you can think of, or anything that might have been installed/updated on your PC?

Can you also please try disabling ‘Portrait Rendering’ via the ‘Settings’ → ‘Interface’ menu and see if that reduces the rate at which you encounter these errors?

Sorry to hear this.

This may be being caused by corrupted save data. Do you play in Online mode?

If so, I recommend to try deleting your local save data (please note, that doing so will cause any Offline mode progress to be lost. However, all Online mode progress is stored safely on our servers)

@Valorean, the launcher developer has told me they are out of suggestions unfortunately :frowning: though based on the screenshots you have shared previously, they have asked how the launcher behaves for your friend for Darktide (MS Store)?

I’m aware that the launchers between both games share many elements, so I assume this is why they are asking about Darktide and how this launcher is behaving.

Hi @Uncle_Okri,

This is pretty strange! Curious, does the issue persist after restarting the Steam client/your PC?

Also, if you unsubscribe and re-subscribe to your mods one-by-one is any specific mod causing this issue to occur after subscribing? or this the Workshop Mods menu always appearing like this for you?
