I’ve raised this crash in our database for investigation. Thank you for the report!

Hi @Huey2000,

I responded to your support ticket, but I’ll reply here also!

There appears to be an issue with your FSR settings. Can you please try the following -

Delete your Vermintide 2 AppData directory:
(Please note, by doing so you will lose any custom configurations/settings e.g. keybinds)

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire 'Vermintide 2 directory
  5. Launch Vermintide 2

Clean reinstall of your GPU drivers:

Hi @Grondovol,

We’ve checked your account in the backend and have found the challenges marked as completed, with the weapon skin rewards unlocked correctly.

Perhaps there was a temporary backend issue, or desync. Can you please check again and let me know?

Hi @JarJarBlunts,

Thanks for the update - that’s quite unusual!

We’re in a difficult spot, as it’s no longer possible for us to query this behaviour with Easy Anti-Cheat support.

The only additional thing I can suggest, would be to try installing Vermintide 2 and Easy Anti-Cheat on a different drive (if possible), to determine if there’s any odd data corruption occuring with the installs on a specific drive.

Weird indeed! Though I’m glad to hear that the issue has resolved itself

Hi @loftie,

Sorry to hear the issue is persisting.

I can only really recommend to ensure you have the latest Windows updates and Anti-Virus updates installed, and to try running through our Easy Anti-Cheat solutions a further time (in case of a different outcome).

As the culprit appears to be sqlite3.dll it may be worth researching this online, and seeing if there are any similar issues and solutions available - perhaps with a replacement .dll. Unfortunately, I’m not able to advise further on this though.

At this stage, I would usually point you towards Easy Anti-Cheat support, however they are sadly no longer accepting support tickets.

Apologies that I’ve been unable to be of more help :frowning:...

Thanks for the update! Good news so far then. Hopefully this has done the trick :crossed_fingers:

Hi @JarJarBlunts,

Sorry to hear the solutions above haven’t worked.

I am admittedly stumped by this! From what you’ve told me, it appears you’ve exhausted all of the solutions that we suggest in this scenario.

I would usually point you to Easy Anti-Cheat support, but unfortunately they are no longer accepting support tickets.

In this case, all I can recommend to do is look out for any specific error messages, and perhaps to try running through our EAC solutions a further time (in case you get a different outcome).

Also, you mentioned being able to play for a number of days before the issue started. Did anything change during this time? Any updates to your PC? e.g. OS update, Anti-Virus update etc.? This may be something worth exploring if so.

Hi @loftie,

What you describe makes sense, as Vermintide 2 currently uses a different version of Easy Anti-Cheat to EOS.

Please let me know how you get on after the reinstall.

Thanks all for your reports and console logs. It has been greatly helpful!

From these logs we’ve been able to determine what we believe is the underlying issue (not actually mod-related) and we’re cooking up a fix internally.

Hopefully we’ll have this issue resolved soon. I’ll keep you posted.

@Tram, I noticed your post on Reddit also, in which you mention being able to see 4 active games. As you were able to see other games, this to me would indicate you are on Modded realm perhaps, opposed to Official realm (chosen from your launcher options).

If you were on an outdated game version you would be unable to view any active games.

Hope this helps!

Comment

@Tram, can you please try restarting Steam and see if the update is available for you?

Please ensure you have automatic updates enabled for Vermintide 2:

  1. Locate Vermintide 2 in your Steam Library
  2. Right-click and select ‘Properties’
  3. Go to ‘Updates’
  4. Ensure ‘Automatic Updates’ is set as ‘Always keep this game updated’

Please let me know how you get on.

Comment

@Tram, I’ve merged your other post here, as I believe they are likely related. If you’re on an old version then you wouldn’t be able to matchmake correctly.

Comment

@Tram, I’ve checked and confirmed that we’re all updated to 5.1.4 on our side for the main and temporary launchers.

Could you please provide some more details of the issue?

Comment

Hi @Tram,

Is it possible that you play on the launcher workaround? If so, this potentially may not have been updated yet. I’ll query this internally.

Thanks for the update!

Interesting to learn that things appeared to work fine after the update, but then went sideways after introducing the mods.

As for the Untrusted system file error, if this persists please try the solutions for this here:

It’s possible that this issue could be mod-related. Anyone who has encountered this issue -

  • Are you using any mods?
  • If so, which mods are you using?
  • Please try disabling your mods. Does the issue persist after?

Also, any host console logs that can please be provided would still be very useful. Thanks!

Post

We are aware of a current issue causing enemy hordes/waves to not spawn correctly during levels - most commonly during end of level events.
