Good to see you guys were having fun! :D
Is the store gunna have minis like these? Would love to have a deep rock dnd one off!
Not immediately, no. T-shirts to begin with. We working with someone on doing some custom things, which could be something like those.
We usually put Experimental out a week before.
Those look awesome! didn't know Deep-rock had merch...
you gunna paint them?
We don't yet, but the merch store opens tomorrow!
Thanks, I hate it.
We're aware of this, but the Steam documentation on how this is displayed is lackluster. I know Soren was looking at it earlier.
Also hoodies and cuts for the beardless lasses! More to come as we submit more designs. We're also looking into plushies, figurines etc. no worries.
"I'm sorry, Karl. I can't do that."
Are these subject to change?
Primarily with more fixes.
Hello Darkness, my old friend.
Wow, this is some dark sh*t.
Baroque and Stone!
The patch notes are on Discord or here.
Good initiative! Rock and Stone!
So when is molly getting a new animation? I've been around for more than a year, 350+ hours since update 13 and it seems like everything has gotten a vanity overhaul except her...
Also, is it possible to make the servers more stable? I don't remember any issues with rubberbanding when I first picked the game up and don't know if that would be fixable. It screws over the game for everyone but the host and I would be forever grateful if those things could be fixed.
I think Molly did get some lights and other small changes over the last year or so.
There are no servers, so if you are experiencing instability it's most likely between you and clients/host. We've done some optimizations on client/host lately, so it shouldn't be the game itself.
And they say that he's still dancing to this day.
Read moreYeah let’s let one power tripping shithead have sole discretion. I’m honestly just going to host games and kick people before calling the drop ship from now on until ghost ship fixes this garbage. I found forums complaining about this abuse since 2018 so clearly this is a valid way to enjoy the product
Edit: sorry I didn’t notice you were a developer, but I’ll leave my passionate empty threat as is because I’m still frustrated 2 days later. I hope there is some sort of mitigation you guys can implement such as a unanimous veto system to override a host’s kick request. I understand the host can ultimately end the session whenever they want but at least that way they are penalizing themselves in the process.
Honestly if there was even a report player option I might have felt better afterwards. I felt like I had absolutely no recourse.
Otherwise it’s a really great game though. You guys should be proud of yourselves. I wouldn’t have such strong feelings about t...
I get your frustration, but voting is not the solution. Is it a majority vote? When is it a majority with four players? 3 vs 1? What if someone doesn't host? Is the host immune? If not there needs to be some sort of host migration, which is not without issues.
It's a fairly complicated issue with no immediate solutions that are easily used. Voting requires a certain number of players to actually work, a veto system is hard to properly introduce and relay to people, so it actually works the way player wants to - and even then, there's a lot of pitfalls.
Not saying it won't change, but the easiest way to avoid the issues is to host yourself and communicate with others.
