We have to take the server offline whenever we employ a new update. In this case, we allowed for an extended period of time for our engineers to load and test 0.9.9 since we are retiring multi-region patches.

If you're still having problems connecting, make sure the update for 0.9.9 is complete or do a "check and repair".

If you need help from the Support team, please submit a ticket with a WGcheck report.

I ran into this as well the day before but the update was able to run about 2 hours after the server went offline for update 0.9.9.

Ensure WoWS/WGC is safe listed on your Internet security software/firewall

Something else to consider especially with current events, with heavy streaming, video conferencing, and gaming activities, check to see if any other activities on your home/office network may be interfering with the game client.

If you are running mods from 0.9.7 and having problems, try removing those mods and relaunch the client.

Some mods aren't updated regularly with each update so they may cause problems with the game.

This patch is fairly beefy so it may take longer than normal for the update to push out.

You adjust the download speed in the WGC settings for upcoming updates. The default is set to 128 but you can adjust it up to 2MB or unlimited.

If you choose a higher download speed, it may affect other activities you perform on the Web or over your Internet connection.

If you're stuck on the "waiting authorization" screen, you may have difficulty reaching the server. Ensure the WGC is on your safe list on your Internet security software/firewall.
