Hi! As of 0.7.4, your mastery is decided by completing a quest in the End of Time, which is given when you first arrive in the end of time, rather than by investing 25 points.

Since you’re on an older character, you should talk to Gaspar in the End of Time again. It’s worth noting that if you had picked a mastery class before 0.7.4, you won’t be able to pick again. You can check which class you are by looking at the character sheet ( C ).

This is a known issue that isn’t simple to fix unfortunately. It’s particularly noticeable with two-handed weapons.

Comment

Keep an eye on the patch notes section, a fix for this has already been included in 0.7.4b. :slightly_smiling_face:

Sorry about the confusion-- as of this post the patch has been released for 2 hours but the leaderboard has not been cleared.

Comment

To correct an issue where characters created before 0.7.4 were shown on the leaderboard, we will be clearing all current entries soon after this patch is released. Your characters created in 0.7.4 will still be eligible for the ladder-- simply level up or complete any Arena wave to have your current level and highest Arena wave listed again.

Our apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this causes!

Could you please post your log file if you encounter this bug again? I haven’t heard of anyone encountering this bug internally so we’re going to need more information unfortunately.

Comment

If a log file is generated I would be interested in seeing it (make sure it’s not the log from the previous session).

Could you try using Task Manager (ctrl+shift+esc) to force close the game instead, should it be necessary? I have used task manager to force close the game without issue personally; I don’t use alt+f4.

Comment

I believe this will be fixed when 0.7.4b comes out, please let us know if the issue persists after then. Thanks!

We don’t support uploading images directly to the forum, so you just need to upload it to any image-hosting website. Imgur does not require you to make an account. An image will be the best way to understand the problem and relay it to someone who can fix it.

Thanks!

The zones changed place during development, the world map will be updated in 0.7.4b. I’ll make a note for the mouse-overs, thanks!

Is this the Time Rift that is at the start of the Ancient Cavern? (next to the waypoint).

If so, this is a known bug and a fix is coming in 0.7.4b.

Comment

This is a known bug, it will be fixed in 0.7.4b (though the fix may not apply to characters that already have the quest bugged).

You can just click “Stop tracking” to hide the quest.

This is a known bug, it will be fixed in 0.7.4b by granting Sentinels a free respec. Thanks for the report!

If this is a character that did not have 25 points in Druid before 0.7.4 released, this is working as intended, because Werebear Form has become exclusive to characters who Mastered into Druid.

In 0.7.3, you became a Mastery Class as soon as you invested 25 points into it and then clicked the “Ascend to (class name)” button on their passives panel. In 0.7.4, you become a Mastery Class after completing a quest that is given to you when you first reach the End of Time.

Please try talking to Elder Gaspar in the End of Time, he should give you the Mastery Quest. There’s a bug affecting how many enemies you will fight, but this will be addressed in a bug fix patch soon.

Comment

It is both More Critical Strike Chance and More Damage. “More” modifiers are multiplicative with “Increased” modifiers for all stats.

For example, if your Raptor has a base crit chance of 5% (as everything does), +5% base crit chance, +15% increased crit chance on your items and +10% on your passives, and +20% more crit chance against bleeding, it will have a final crit chance of:

  • (0.05 + 0.05) x (1 + 0.15 + 0.10) = 12.5% against all enemies
  • ( (0.05 + 0.05) x (1 + 0.15 + 0.10) ) x (1 + 0.20) = 15% against bleeding enemies
It would have a 14.5% chance against bleeding if the +20% was also increased.

You’re right that the tooltip is unclear in this case, I’ll make it more clear. Thanks for the report!

What version number do you see in the top left of your screen?

Thanks, we definitely don’t want two names with the same name :slightly_smiling_face:
