So I am going to attempt to elaborate as much as I can to what support is telling you. I have looked at your ticket and dug into the issue some but before I explain what occurred I want to point out what our End User License Agreement states:

"8.6.8 If the sender of a gift cancels the payment or fails to pay after the recipient accepts the gift, both accounts will be blocked until the circumstances are clarified. Please do not accept gifts from unknown senders."

So why do we have this in place? It is a fraud protection measure. And 1 of 2 options can be taken to rectify the issue.

My initial post answers exactly what the OP's question was. There are no updates that counteract or change what was said in the initial post.

This is actually really good advice as currently there is no "default location" for the cursor when you hold control. Setting it yourself is a great idea! GG!

Just wanted to give some amplifying information with an illustration sorry ahead of time, but my arts and crafts skills aren't the best.

"When torpedoes are selected (default key 3), the firing arcs of the torpedo launchers will be shown. The arc will be green if the corresponding launcher is loaded, or yellow if it is still reloading. Overlapping arcs are shown with a dashed line. The inner edge of the arc indicates the minimum arming distance of the torpedoes. If no arc is showing on selecting torpedoes, the torpedo armament has been incapacitated."

If you look at the right side screenshot, I have circled the inner edge or "arming distance" for this ships torpedoes. As you can see it is in front of the ship, I am at .5km from the target in that shot, so the torpedoes armed and dealt damage.

I got Aigle as some have also during the event a long while back. As stated she doesn't play like her researchable counterparts. I run BFT, Demo Expert, Concealment Expert and last stand as a requirement. (last stand because for me, it seems the engine always jumps out of the ship when I get shot).

I would suggest you play her like a fast light cruiser, for a couple reasons. The best concealment you can have is 6.8km's with her, so capping at least initially isn't the best idea as you'll get spotted and wrecked probably pretty fast. She is amazing at fleeing and burning targets as you fall back and killing other DD's.

As stated by @VVoony prior to being able to reset any ship line, you have to have researched 5 tier X's. That is the minimum threshold.

2: if people are talking in chat channels and they ARE violating the EULA, report them first, then take a screen shot and put a support ticket in.

UGH, we have all had these battles I believe. It is frustrating, but randoms are gonna be, well random... Understand right now, you have A LOT of people playing new ships and it will take them time to learn those ships. I have encountered a lot of battles like this during this holiday time too, all you can do sometimes is take a break and launch another. Just keep swimming :)
