Aloha,
Congrats on getting the Benham and GG, she is, by far one of my favorite DD's. As a DD main, she has just about every lill bit of of what I look for in a DD! Definitely a fun ship!

Okay, so here is the thing. You have to remember I am replying not only to the OP but also other posts in this thread, as well as posts in other threads. Because, I know more than just 1 or 2 of you are going to read these. I totally understand that some have been surprised by the length and difficulty of the grind for PR. I am not disputing that at all, nor am I trying to downplay the difficulty. Because it is, well difficult.
So um, where did we lie where does it say it would be easy? Where is the misleading part? It actually says in order to complete the ship in time, you will need to use boosters, it explains some are available for doubloons others are available for tokens. I am doing exactly what it says in that text to complete my PR. I am grinding directives, buying boosters, etc etc etc....
Except, the text was not misleading.... I read the release notes and information on the PR just like everyone did. The difference in my response to everything, verses what I see from a lot of people? I saw that it was going to be for a Tier X ship and had ZERO equivocation on the fact that it was going to be difficult to earn. It was this way when we released the news on how to get the Benham as well.
Furthermore, when I saw everything on the test server and saw videos on the dockyard, I actually thought "Gee, it seems a bit too EASY to get the PR, it's a Tier X, it shouldn't be that easy to get." I did NOT expect what was in test to be exactly how it was in the release.
Sorry,
But you seem to forget that I have been playing this game since second week of Alpha Testing and I have never really stopped playing it during that time. So If I can play this game as long as I have (PRIOR to becoming the Community Manager), without reacting as I stated above, everyone else should be able to too. Slowing down, thinking and taking some time to do research, or asking questions verses just drawing conclusions is good. Throughout the longevity of World of Warships, every single change I have noted in Dev Blogs, notes, streams, etc, have always made me think about how those changes will be employed in the game. And then I standby until those changes are applied and I can see them.
This happened when we removed the ability to blind fire, this happened when they added blume to ships firing in smoke, this happened to radar balance changes, to MM changes, etc etc etc...
-Hapa
Aloha.
Perhaps you should look at the dates of those posts, if you do, you will see the original post was to inform the community of the changes coming up. The second post is an update, with date changes. These changes were based off player feedback. Looking at dates of announcements before reacting will remove most of the confusion.
As for the comments about me asking the community to not make speculatory or questionable conclusions without information, that was based off comments stating on what the balance changes were without any information to base those conclusions on.
I cannot speak for other people but myself I react and form my conclusions based off actual empirical data, context and timing, not just on what I think might happen. This is why I always ask people to wait until things are announced.

AH, yeah more than likely. I have been grinding French ships all day, JB, Dunk, Gascogne, etc... So I guess you did see me! SAY HELLO NEXT TIME! jk

Aloha,
Evening folks, as stated by a few. This was an update to our patch notes. NO there are no resets on snowflakes. As wonderful as that would be for a lot of us, myself included.... since I'll be about 2000 steel short for the Somers!

You sure it was me bud? I don't own a Bourgogne. :)
Aloha,
So as stated in our update post below, the issue is currently with Spectrum and Charter ISP services. Our tech support is trying to work with theirs to rectify this issue.
Furthermore, with it being the holiday a lot of their tech support people are away from the office, this is making rectifying this even worse.
Several solutions are mentioned in the below post, I suggest you try to do so, I will summarize also:
1: Try using a Google DNS first, A LOT of people having the issue said this worked for them
2: If the DNS doesn't work try a VPN service I have not heard of anyone having this NOT work for them.
3: Try using a hotspot, I suggest this as a last, last resort as data charges may apply to you if you do this.
Apologies for the inconvenience!

Aloha,
I will say this I have noted the buff on all KM BB's. I don't run a secondary build anymore, I run full survivablity on them. The secondaries still have good range and you have a better tank-ability. But that is just me! My kurfurst is a lovely ship again :)

Aloha,
Folks, I am seeing ENTIRELY TOO MUCH personal attacks and responses that are off the topic from the OP's original post. Since we are not able to show that we can have a civil and constructive conversation I am locking this thread.

Aloha,
Just FYSA guys!
Our sincere apologies for all the issues. Our tech support folks are trying to work with these two ISP's to rectify the issue. HOWEVER, at this time the best way to work around the issue is using google DNS or a VPN, everyone that I have talked to IN GAME has said that using a VPN seems to be the best way! This is unfortunately looking like a Spectrum/Charter issue mostly on the west coast with sporadic issues for folks near those zones.
