Updated the first couple bullet points under Unique Gameplay Features in the blog to be more clear. Dropping them below for you all. Be sure to tune in to the show tomorrow for all the details on Martichras' kit!

  • A new type of basic attack damage that applies a ramping, stacking Damage Over Time across multiple successful hits. (Even the first hit deals more than the usual 100% power scaling damage in total damage)
  • A unique type of Stim Passive ability that triggers an attack speed buff after a number of successful basic attacks, ability hits, or minion kills/assisis
  • Another component of this passive that gives him permanently stacking basic attack and ability lifesteal each time he successfully triggers an attack speed stim (max 30 stacks)

Martichoras, The Manticore King, is coming!

We have been listening closely to those who are skeptical about this god's inclusion. The voices of concern are certainly reasonable, but we think Martichoras has many valid traits that have earned him his place as a playable god in SMITE.

The Manticore is an iconic mythological creature. Not only in Greek Mythology, the first culture to document it, but in many other pantheons. This has grown into making it a common inclusion in various fantasy worlds across games, movies, and novels.

This monster is often thought of as a species that there are multiples of, so we set out to find a strong named leader among them before we approved this concept. Usually yes! But sometimes for Bonus (like today) we push both server side AND client side updates.

Quality of Life Changes
  • Map updates -- minor tweaks and adjustments to many areas around the map to make for healthier end zones and better fights. Check out Fungal, Jaguar, Goblin Gulch, Trinity Hills, and many more for the updates! There are also many easter eggs that have been hidden around the map!
  • Chicken Health reduced from 1300 to 1200

  • Battle Pass Season 6: Deep Sea Bytes. Make a splash and earn new mysterious deep sea creatures with 50 action packed levels!

Mastery System Update
Each Class now has a progress track based on experience gained while playing matches with them. Along the way you'll earn prizes, with the very end being a mastery skin, to show off how awesome you are. We also made it so that all your previous progress with these classes was transferred over to the new track, and once you play through a match with each of them, you'll be given the prizes you would have earned had you started from Level 0.

New Warrior Class Weapon - Javelin
This mid to long range weapon is a charged throw which does more damage based on the time charged and the distance traveled
  • Base Damage: 620/830/960
  • Range based damage increase: Begins increasing in damage after 30m, and reaches the maximum 50% increase at 140m. Damage bonus curve is exponential to minimize the increase in shorter range fights.
  • Projectile Speed: 900
  • Full Draw Time: 1.2s

Hello Realm Royale friends!

Below are the hotfix notes along with some thoughts to go along with it!

Goblin
  • Decreased Movement speed by 12%
  • Decreased Health by 15%

Dev note: Players were communicating that Goblins were too much of a chore to hunt down. We lowered the speed and health to make it a bit easier for players to get their hands on their loot.

Auto Sniper
  • The Common version of this item has been removed from your first pull out of a chest
  • Increased Damage from 560/640/720/800 ➡️ 580/660/740/820
  • Decreased Refire rate from 1.2 ➡️ 1.1

Dev Note: Players were getting frustrated with getting the auto sniper out of their first chest, making it a bit weird to engage with on drop.

Hello everyone and welcome (bok) to Realm Royale Reforged!

Over the past few months a small internal team of passionate developers here at Hi-Rez took on the task to reforge the Realm, bringing back mechanics from Realm Royale’s earlier stages that players loved, while building upon the improvements and features that players are familiar with today.

A lot has changed and we’re so excited for you to dive back in.

Armor is back!
The Runes system has been removed and replaced with Armor. There are four different pieces of Armor that can be looted, equipped, and upgraded throughout the course of a game, each granting a different buff/bonus.

Helm: Increased Cooldown reduction
Breastplate: Additional Armor P5/Health P5
Gauntlets: Increased Reload and Weapon Swap speed
Greaves: Increased Movement speed and Mount speed

Hey all we see the feedback and our partnerships team reached out to Mizkif's team and got an update.

His SMITE streams are going to resume and ramp back up starting today, and lead into the OTK Invitational tournament on the 27th.

Both Hi-Rez and OTK were super ambitious and all got really excited about SMITE Month and may have over shot plans. Here's what we're doing about it:

We've reactivated the couple of god unlock drops that were missed this week and extended the time to claim them through Friday.

We've created 2 longer campaigns with rewards that last until the 28th of June, so players have a couple weeks to earn rewards easily.

Viewers will also earn these rewards throughout the whole duration of the OTK SMITE Invitational stream on the 27th.
