Apologies for the inconvenience. Both Steam and Xbox have had issues on their side today that affected connectivity to SMITE. Steam issues were resolved fairly quickly , but we're still working with our partners over at Xbox to work through issues. Hoping to have this resolved soon. Will update here as soon as I have more info.

Hey! Can you try clearing both your SMITE game cache/save data and then hard power cycling your PS4 to see if that fixes it for you?

• On the system home menu select settings.
• Select Application Saved Data Management
• Select Saved Data in System Storage.
• Select Delete.
• Select SMITE
• Select Settings and chose delete.

Then uninstall SMITE

After SMITE is uninstalled power cycle your console by shutting it down(not rest mode), waiting 30 seconds then turning it back on. After you've power cycled re-install SMITE.

Try hitting the three dots on SMITE to see if SMITE PTS is listed in the drop down.

Season 8 continues to be an incredibly exciting time for us, and we’re still in the midst of diagnosing, investigating, and implementing fixes for various server and stability issues that have been affecting players for the past few weeks. We have made some improvements and taken strides towards long term solutions and wanted to take some time to update you all on what we’ve done while providing some more insight into the more recent issues.

We're looking into an issue with MOTD and the modes not rolling over properly. Keep an eye on the Community Issues Trello to keep track of the status on this one.

Echoing what a couple of people have said here and we have received reports of this from pros and Olympians and are looking into each case as they come up. If you've experienced a match like this recently shoot me your in game name, and the date/time of the match in question. I'll forward it over to the team and make sure it gets looked into.

Thanks so much for helping us test Season 8! We’ve had a close eye on this thread and have been tracking all of the issues sent over as well as all your feedback on Season 8 items, balance, and the new Conquest map.

We’ve still got a lot of work to do, but we’re making great progress thanks in large part to all your testing and reporting. Plus, the design team is working on a round of PTS balance changes based on your initial feedback(more news on this in the coming weeks).

That being said this weekend will be the only weekend for Season 8 PTS, and servers will be unavailable starting Monday Jan. 11. The team is in a place where they would like to move forward with our next phase of testing, and having PTS closed to the public will allow us to run through our tests more efficiently, and get things fixed more quickly.

We’ll be sure to update on social media when servers come offline on Monday for PC and Console PTS.
