Just to clarify, the perks that thralls unlock are entirely random and not influenced by faction or class, which is not the case for pets as they can get perks based on their species.

Can you ensure that both consoles are on a wired connection?

Do you experience any similar issues when joining an online server or if the other of you hosts a session instead?

We’ve looked into server 2578 and there were no oddities registered at the time you’ve posted, according to the stats it had the usual player activity.

Hello @liquidand, if a player built next to your claim his own claim will overlap with yours, resulting in an area where it shouldn’t be possible to build, which is intentional.

Players usually surround their bases with claims or walls to prevent this from affecting their main structures.

If this was not the case, please provide us with further details.

Hi @Darkzombie, this type of behavior is intended as the stats for each NPC are determined by the faction they belong to rather than their class, so some factions do offer better fighters than others.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to assist with any loss of items or building that may have occurred in the meantime.

We’d suggest checking for any temperature effects before exiting the game, as well as depositing all your inventory in a chest in order to prevent any possible loss of items should something happen to their characters while you’re offline. It’s also recommended not to sleep close to heat sources such as furnaces, and be aware that they provide heat even when above or below the area they’ve been placed in.

Hi @Darkzombie, we’re aware of the issue with the corpses and it’s being looked into, and we’ll send note to the team about the workstations resetting on server restart, thank you for bringing this up!

Recovering old save games is only possible if you have a backup stored in the XBOX cloud, however, as that savegame was corrupted there’s no way to address that issue other than starting a new one, apologies for the frustration.

As you’re playing on a singleplayer session you may consider using the admin mode to speed up your progression up until the point of your previous game.

We’ve been improving the thrall behavior and have also added a rescue mechanic to help deal with issues similar to the one you’ve brought up, you can read more about it here:

For larger bases, reducing the amount of NPCs and light sources is advised as the singleplayer client can have trouble handling the same load as the online client, especially on console.

Dashboarding issues are also being actively investigated by our team and we address as many causes for these as possible every patch.
