When we first released GATES it would mistakenly evaluate text in channels that wouldnt show up in the report card, which caused a lot of the silliest looking screenshots you see floating around. That's since been fixed so there should be fewer of them since 2023.

We still make mistakes of course, and we continue to improve it. As time goes on it should only get better.

Idk. I guess it means I just won't play aram or norms to chill, I'll just play a different game instead.

I promise the goal is to reduce overall negative player experience. We aren't trying to just shuffle it around between queues.

We'll be watching normal queues closely. If they start to be impacted, we'll pull the change.

It really irks me. I understand that player behavior is really hard to address effectively, but these stats don’t really mean anything. I mean, an unlabeled graph is truly mind blowing with how misleading it could be.

I can't tell you the exact numbers for the the y-axis, but I will assure you that it starts at 0. So you should be able to infer some trends/percentages from this graph.

Honestly chat should be off by default for new players anyway. When you are new to this game, you are alone, easily 95+% of new accounts you're playing against are experienced players and they will talk shit to you for not understanding the game in its entirety with a level 5 account.

Pretty sure dota has a que for new players that limits the champion pool to basic champs + mutes chat. Kinda good.

New players now only see party chat by default. They'll need to enable team chat if/when they want to engage with the league chat experience.

Dota's NPQ is mostly the same as our co-op vs ai I think. (Since you don't start with all the champions unlocked in league)

They can't. Deafen mutes your pings for allies.

If you are currently getting to lane by right clicking once from base, the system can get a little confused because it's been so long since your last input. Try right clicking one last time when you get to lane, just before going invisible

The Remake System is Broken....

Hiya, I worked closely with the team that implemented this change, and I'm hoping I can provide some clarity on how it works.

The remake check is just watching for anyone who doesn't make any user inputs to your champion (Things like right clicks and abilities) for a full 90 seconds.

So if you're leaving base to stand in the jungle just make sure you right click again when you get to where you're going and you should avoid the popup. If you're Teemo and you're going undercover for an extended period of time, try using the 'stop' command every once in a while (S by default) to tell the system you're still there without breaking stealth.

It's also worth noting there's a special check for staying on the summoning platform. So if you're just browsing the shop you'll need to leave the platform and come back or be flagged as afk.

And if you do see the popup, don't worry! Just right click again or leave the platform sometime in the next 30 seconds and y...
