Indeed! These are all variants of monsters you may come across in your adventures on Verra; for example, you may have noticed some variations of the Cursed Charger and Scalerunner as mobs that players fought during Alpha One!

In addition, each mount that gets shared has a corresponding lore piece that goes along with it, which gives you more flavor and insight into the world of Verra. You can see these both in our news posts and on the items themselves!

Yup, these pieces were recorded by the lovely Margaret to add a little special flair to the lore reveals this year! As she noted a few times during the stream, these are more a labor of love for charity, rather than something that was professionally recorded 🧡 that being said, we've definitely noted the feedback on things you'd like to see and hear in future lore reveals!

Previously we've mentioned that a "default player appearance" may be automatically applied during sieges/large scale battles, to help with client-side performance. As our Alpha One testing was focused heavily on performance, we would expect settings like this to be a focus in upcoming testing as well!

There are also plans for "Events" as the third category under questing - more time-based and location-based scenarios, triggered by something, that can have pass/fail criteria. Failing an event could lead to...disastrous consequences 🙃
