If you are in the new Android client open beta, you may find that your app has been updated to a newer Java client. This is because a new Java client has just been released.
However, if you wait a little (possibly an hour or two) it should update again to an updated version of the "beta" client.
Wait, so just to confirm that runelite isn't out for the launcher yet? It had me a little bit confused.
Not yet but it will be available soon!
Can someone from the team confirm whether booting Runelite through this launcher will resolve the "Too many login attempts" error that legacy users are seeing when using RuneLite?
I would love to be able to use RuneLite regularly instead of being locked down to the Steam Client for days at a time.
It should help with that issue in particular, yes :)
Is this launcher going to solve the old "Too many logins" problem that plagues some users?
It should bring improvements in resolving that issue yes! There is a lot that will be worked on before we leave Open Beta, and this one of them.
Will Space Punks be on this launcher eventually? I'm not going to play it on the Epic launcher.
I assumed this Launcher was created in preparation for SP's launch, but apparently it has been out for nearly a year now. Someone goofed the marketing on that one. I forgot the game even existed until this launcher made me wonder what other games than OSRS and RS3 could be on it.
In the future you'll be able to access all Jagex titles from the Launcher :)
Will this be expanded to multiple accounts? Can I one day just have my PC have one click access to all my accounts with clicks instead of password managers?
I do believe that is one of the additional features that will be worked on.

The launcher looks pretty sweet. The Blogpost talks about how; ‘its easier then ever to login’ my question is, will the Jagex launcher circumvent the spam login bug that has been affecting some users for a while now?
This will hopefully bring improvements in resolving the login spam issue that many players have been plagued with.
It's definitely worth trying rather than the standard login route. Let us know how you get on!
Can I play both RuneScape and Old School at the same time?
The Launcher can only run one game at a time.
Does that also mean you can only run one instance of a client (no two OSRS, or two RS3)? I'd assume you can still have multiple runelites open separately, but it'd be kind of a bummer to not support multi-logging. I also know a couple people that like afk'ing on RS3 while playing OSRS and vice-versa
Currently the Launcher can only run one game at a time.
We have lots of features in the works but this is just our Open Beta to make sure everything runs smoothly :)
Will this bring the C++ client for non steam users or is this only java?
For now it is only the Java client that will be made available (alongside RuneLite) but keep an eye on news we have to share over the next few weeks for more info :)
RuneLite official integration gaining traction is very appealing, thank you!
I was happy to see this included, as I'm sure many of you will be too!
