It falls under the update category, the point of including it is to gather data around if it was something people were aware happened it wasn't being framed as a "content update"
An unfortunate mishap with some copy and pasting and missing it on subsequent read throughs. The folks handling the survey have since updated to align with the other questions.
Herb bag issue is being resolved on Monday, its not intended to store herbs over the bag size. Thankfully if you have stored over the amount they won't be deleted but you won't be able to use the bag as intended until you remove the extra herbs.
Our combat beta has been in full swing since November and over that time we have been polishing and refining changes to the systems with your feedback at the heart of it! Read more External link →It's been the Structure of TWIR Posts for as long as I recall, we'd need to ask Azzana (on Discord because he prefers it there) to separate them, and then hope his successor follows suit.
At least it makes sense to separate them when they're cosmetics like the ones we'll get, for other regular promotions, like the ones from previous weeks it's fine for them to stay in the news posts. They're like 12 Lines of text.
But on the other hand, there's people who are used to read about the latest and upcoming TH Promotions in the Weekly Posts and actively look forward for them.

TWIR is aimed to be a catch all of the things happening around when its posted, this can range from updates, patch notes, merch, events and Treasure Hunter Promos.
While I get the want to separate them out I could see it causing trouble (I don't imagine the people wanting to ignore promotions would appreciate more posts coming out that are exclusively for promotions)
The intent is that it is readily available to players, there are times while playing you will want to have it on indefinitely but in those situations where you wanna quickly change it (combat for example) having it in the menu causes issues (settings blocking your screen etc)

Heyo currently the team is investigating some external issues that are impacting logins
Blocking around the new market stalls in the middle of East Ardougne market is misplaced (entire "island" is shifted 1 tile to the west?). - Under review, I don't believe there has been any island shift?
You can walk into the stalls from the east, and on the other side there's a 1 title width of extra blocking.
Also the market stalls are bugged, when you steal from them they change into a different type.
Yeah the switching thing is a fun one we spotted this morning. The market blocking is being reviewed but if ya have any screenshots of the spots you are mentioning lemme know.
Checking into it there was a player that had the damage reduction aspect of the buff beyond the point it was intended to exists. They don't seem to have had the porter function.
The buff wasn't active for longer then intended it was just not removed after the event had ended in this one case as the player seems to have been logging out intermittently.

We've managed to sneak a beta update in before the Christmas holidays (woo!).
It's worth noting that what's been pushed live is an exact copy of our test environment, therefore you may experience more issues or unexpected outcomes than you're used to as a number of things are still a work in progress. We felt that it would be better to get you something to play with over the Christmas period even with this in mind as opposed to having nothing until the new year!

Every letter you hand in gives you a present as well, its just frontloaded instead of given to you on Sunday when you trade in the nice points.
