In case anyone was hoping to see something about a Golden Cape Hunt re-activation, we wanted to let you know these discussions are happening right now, but we haven't been able to confirm any plans in time for this Newspost.

Yeah for sure - one of the feedback points we'll be discussing is also taking into account this happened on a weekend, which might be the only time feasible to chase Shards for some folks.

It definitely won't extend beyond 23:59 Game Time tonight - however, we will discuss potentially reactivating it for a period of time if it's feasible with other work going on the studio (as it will require implementation, testing etc).

No promises, but we will absolutely give the feedback on wanting some time returned proper consideration.

We couldn't extend it with a Hotfix without introducing risk. Given it's a Sunday, we felt it best we deploy something safer asap.

We'll be discussing this feedback on Monday and considering options. It may not be feasible to reactivate it (as we'll need a whole new set of changes, plus testing) but we will at least consider it.

I think the most fair thing to do would be to extend the event a day atleast to make up for time lost. A lot of people (myself included) were doing last-minute shard gathering and being unable to now get the shards is a pretty big setback. A small extension would solve that issue for everyone.

As it's a Sunday, I'd say that's unlikely to happen as part of a fix that would go out today - but it's something we can definitely discuss on Monday with a wider group available (including QA etc).

Thanks so much everyone for sharing your thoughts. We're passing these to the Art Team now specifically to guide potential improvements to the look.

While this thread was specifically to gather feedback for the Art Team, we appreciate a lot of the other feedback that was passed to us in this thread. As Doom mentioned, these points are also being discussed and are an active topic here at the studio.

Overall, whatever the feedback is on, I also want to say a big thank you to so many of you for the constructive approach you took in your responses. As we look to do more of this, having this level of detail and perspective on your thoughts/feelings helps the team immensely. We know that takes time to do, and we do appreciate it!

This isn't used for Necromancy Gear - you've seen the vast majority of the gear in the First Look, barring the T95 stuff which doesn't use this style either.

You can use it as a training method for Construction. Infinitely rebuilding the Fort Buildings is an alternative to POH or Construction Contracts.

One added detail just to share -

When you get your Tier 3 Cabin built, you automatically have the chance to find Imcando Piece Birds Nests from any Woodcutting source. Speak to Oak for a free one.

If you're hunting down Imcando Pieces, there is bad luck mitigation in place. Every nest you find is getting you closer. Good luck!

Just to confirm - while this gives you a free Imcando hatchet piece, the team confirmed you do not need to speak to Oak for the chance to find Imcando Piece Birds Nests to activate.

Once you have Tier 3, they automatically have a chance to drop through Woodcutting sources. You won't have missed out on any chances if you didn't speak to Oak before seeing this (just in case anyone panics!).
