We've received some questions about this today based on an official response given through Support, and so we want to clarify that our policies on real-money trading as laid out in the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct have not changed at all. We have no intention of banning people just for advertising services like these.
However, we have no way to identify why you’re trading in-game currency with other players, and that means we can’t guarantee that if you’re making a large number of high value gold trades to other players that you will not be identified by our anti-RMT measures as engaging in potential RMT activity. We also can’t take action against any players who scam you out of currency or services you’ve arranged with them when you make out of game trades. For those reasons, this isn't something we can give our official stamp of approval to, and you are doing it at your own risk.

Changes coming for Cata sooner than you think!
"Our last patch firmed up Catalyst's support build but left the DPS build underperforming our own desires for the specialization, and so it's getting an array of positive changes in the next patch that will shore up its damage-dealing ability, make it perform consistently regardless of target hitbox size, and make the play pattern for optimal skill usage much more accessible and forgiving."

Fantastic! Love the challenge of the meta and love to see that we get a new way of obtaining the mount. Now I would just like to see more rewards to make the event worth the time investment. At this rate if people are just throwing away hours upon hours for no real reward…
Just wanted to note that we're aware of and agree with the feedback regarding meta rewards. We'll take the first steps towards addressing this in the March 15 release, but our ultimate goal is to ensure that the End of Dragons meta events are worth returning to, similar to Heart of Thorns metas. Thanks for the feedback. :)

Ha! Yeah, I'm a little surprised folks thought I'd take off work during such a pivotal moment, but I agree that my comment in Twitch chat was a little unclear. I am looking forward to getting SOME playtime in on launch day, though!
That's cool that he's got the luxury of taking time off of work. Some of us would like to do the same. Also some of us need to know way in advance in order to take that time off but hey grouch has it already scheduled off so that's all that matters.
To clarify, I was trying to say that I've taken time off of work for game releases in the past - like I did for Guild Wars 2's launch back in 2012. I'm not taking time off for End of Dragons launch. :)
Will I be able to claim objectives with my five guilds or are 4 of em useless ones a wvw one is picked due to this rework? As a roamer I kinda own 5 guilds for claiming and use of tactics and last beta none of the 5 could claim anything.
You can still claim with all five. Your WvW guild is just used for matchmaking purposes.
I'd be curious to know more about what was happening when you couldn't claim.

What about those who even after the fix cannot get in? They get a network error message.

What did this restructuring actually mean? I'm a casual WvW player mainly for the track rewards, and want to love it, but honestly all of my negative toxic interactions have been in WvW.
