We want to support Gems of War on PS5, and we also want PS4 Gems of War accounts to be transferable to PS5, so there’s no reason to start quitting the game in panic. We have said this for the past 2 years (when questions about next gen started appearing already).

I simply have no DETAILS about it yet. I don’t want to make guesses and assumptions about how to link your accounts or when Gems of War will be released on next gen as I don’t have specifics yet.

Currently your save data on console is attached to your PSN and Xbox Live accounts, not to the console you play on.

Covid is complicating things.

As soon as we have solid information we will pass it on, but there’s no reason to panic about your Gems of War account progress on PS4 or Xbox One.

Just for future reference there is an ! icon that pops up in the settings menu and world map which is colour coded to the amount of server/connection issues you’re experiencing.

At the time it was yellow for degraded performance.
We don’t make announcements about every time there’s lag or connection issues as it’s the nature of the internet and this was considered minor and we notify everyone in game with the server status icon. It’s fixed if the icon is green in settings or not there on the world map.

I was responding in the game chat directly to questions about it - I didn’t go there specifically to talk about lag - it’s what came up in conversation.

This requires a client update, so it was very easy and fast to fix however, we can’t just deploy a fix to the game server, we need the update to go through the whole approval process for every game platform we support.

It will be fixed in the next update 5.1

Hey, if it’s happening every match please record the match so we can see what’s causing it, so far no one has provided any video of it happening, we can’t make it happen when we’re testing and we can’t see a bug in the code.

So if it’s happening that reliably for you you can help us solve this.

EDIT: please also ask the player if they had any error messages with a “retry” button pop up at all during their Guild Wars matches, if they were playing on mobile while on the move (ie their connection may have temporarily dropped for example).

EDIT EDIT: We still can’t find where these points are leaking out so we’re looking into the possibility of maybe something strange is happening to A battle where the results are somehow partially submitted to the game server so if any guild who gets this issue can find out if members had any weird errors when starting or, probably more relevan...

Restart the game the bug should be fixed already.

The text feedback has been passed on.
Please bear in mind that the translators don’t see the text in the game when we give it to them to translate so if we don’t provide enough context it’s not their fault.

I do understand, I promise. I’ll follow up with the Devs on this again today. I think I mentioned somewhere this is one of top 5 priority bugs I’ve asked the team to look into, it’s not an easy one so far (which is why it hasn’t been fixed yet).

EDIT: PS. I know how frustrating it would be to read this reply after like 6 months of this, I just don’t know what else I can say at this point :frowning: it’s disappointing all around.

It means we don’t consider a bug fixed until QA has tested the fix and has confirmed it is indeed working as intended. I try not to announce something is fixed in the next update unless I know for sure it is actually fixed.

I tested the Weapon filter myself so I could reply to this thread which is why I could post about it.

We are planning to add this functionality in a future update but unfortunately, it didn’t make it into 5.0.

@MiloMtre please try restarting the game and then check the start of the armour list.
When you buy armour they get moved to the front of the list of armour.

Hi @MentalcaseAd666 sorry for the delayed reply on your ticket, we usually reply much more quickly to purchase issues. We’ve had an issue with gifting the Elite passes to players from our support tools which we’ve been looking into fixing which is why there’s been a delay. I plan to reply to anyone with this issue today after I’ve spoken to the programmers again about the issue.

You will of course get your pass and compensation as soon as this is fixed. Sorry about this.
