@Sipalman I checked to make sure it was random after seeing your post. 3 players were affected by the mythic. 1 got War, 1 got Arachnaean Weaver and 1 got Tina-9000 if I recall correctly.

We haven’t made any changes to the forum super recently, so I’m not sure when it was removed or if it was something Discourse changed at some point. We did update the website awhile back as you all know so maybe it got lost in that change somehow. I’ve mentioned it to the team but it’s not a huge priority at the moment.

Almost every forum post from Devs comes from myself or Salty as that’s our job, so hopefully that makes finding info from Devs easier unless you’re looking for some original post by Sirrian back in the day. I did turn a couple of his old posts into Help Center articles as they were still relevant as I didn’t want any good information getting buried on the forum in some obscure thread. ie. Guild Wars scoring and stuff about how our RNG works.

Hey, we noticed this and have already fixed it for the next update, version 5.1.

Unfortunately, it requires a client update so it’s not something we could fix on the fly for this week’s event.

Sorry about this, I know it’s inconvenient.

Hi folks, Salty and I have both been unwell in the past week.

Because of this my focus has been more on support than on the forums in order to ensure our players are getting the help they need even though I haven’t been as available due to this, and unfortunately Salty was unwell yesterday on the stream day.

We’ll endeavour to reply to some more threads later this week, but at least one of us have been reading the forum each day and making note of anything that needs to be passed onto the team.

I’ve been speaking to Salty and at this stage next week’s stream is still planned to go ahead.

EDIT: Someone sniped me :thinking:

That was my fault, sorry everyone, because we’ve been working from home for so long, public holidays haven’t even been on my mind at all and I completely forgot yesterday was one.

I’ll be responding to the Druid’s Glade missing Mythic tickets before the end of today.

I’ll be poking the team about this again next week (this week is hectic due to update).

We can clearly see there’s obviously a bug but we can’t reproduce it or find the cause yet, needs more investigation.

The game servers were running smoothly around the times of these posts.

One of the side effects of many countries having some kind of lockdown due to covid-19 is that there is a much heavier usage load online. Many Internet Service Providers have had to increase their services to cover for this and then the infrastructure itself can only handle so much (shout out to all the Aussies still on 50yo copper).

Due to this you may find your speeds are much slower than usual and you might get the occasional drop out during peak usage times. If it’s not on the game server we don’t have any control over it :frowning:

Even if you can reach other services fine, it could be that the issue is somewhere in the connection between us and the route you take to our game servers will be a bit different from the one you’re taking to get to another servic...

Hey, surprisingly the errors aren’t caused by any of those things.
Also just to clear one thing up, we didn’t deploy a fix to some players and not others, everyone on PC/mobile is on the same game version, the problem is different players are experiencing different issues which don’t have the same solution :frowning:

There’s basically 3 issues:

  1. Some players can’t connect to the game servers (investigating - the game servers are up and running so this issue appears to be somewhere else along the connection between us) (infinite loading screens, Error 16 - an asset failed to download)

  2. Some players can’t download a file required to launch the game - we are currently testing a fix for this with the players who wrote support tickets. (Error 0100, Unknown Error, Unable to download remote config.)
