Yeah, about the same boat for me, I got a AMD FX-6300 OC'd to 4.4ghz, 16gb RAM DDR3 (Ofcourse) 1866mhz, and a GTX 1060, game doesn't like something on my end obviously, it won't push higher than 30 fps in the field, even with everything on "Low", I changed the resolution scale to .75 and it lowered my frame...

Yes we are still improving the battle camera and i know that there is still jiggling issues when the camera have hard time figuring where a free position is.

Hello,

You need to activate the turrets and use the balista to win the fight, without the turrets the fight is extremely hard.

Unfortunately the loading times were one of the biggest complain and so we worked on that but to do that we need to change the datapacks formats and compressions because most of the loading time come from how the datas are layouted and compressed on the disk.

I know it's annoying but if it's too much just mute the updates of the game on Steam and wait a few weeks when i'm done doing all that optimizations.

Hello, i don't have this issue here so it will be hard to fix without more infos,

If you can try to do an integrity check on the game files on Steam, also if you can give me your configurations it would be helpful, thanks!

  • More loading optimizations (~20%, will require again a redownload of every files)
  • Fixed a few performances hiccups that was provoking some micro stuttering ingame especially when changing terrain tiles

  • Added mesh generation caching to some areas of the game to prevent a few hiccups

  • Vastly improved loading performances and reduced game size by implementing data compressions on datapacks (already active since yesterday)
  • Fixed an issue on auto-cutscenes that could sometime snap wrongly a character at the wrong height
  • Fixed a bug that was allowing to teleport even if the teleporter is locked using the confirm button instead of clicking on the teleporter
  • Cleaned up minor visual issues in quests: Bare necessities, Biting the hand, Sunken Cathedral
  • Experimental: Deployed experimentally a change that attenuate the strength of character facial expressions during cutscenes for feedback purpose (don't hesitate to give us feedbacks with that change on the EOE discord)
  • Various minor fixes & crashfixes

You can use the teleporter after the Vanguard to teleport (and/or the one inside before the boss to teleport at entrance)

Hello, framerate limiter is indeed using vsync.

With your configuration im nearly sure you're CPU bound and most options affect GPU performances.

We plan a switch to DX12 as soon as Unity 2020.2 is ready and stable and it should bring far better performances CPU side.

I can make it fade during cutscene if it helps, i just want it to stay during world exploration as it is the moment where most bugreports are done and so giving the info of the version.

Hello, we will remove the overlay for the final release v1, we will also in an upcoming patch fix the fact that during Steam screenshots and Ansel screenshots some parts of the UI stay like subtitles and watermark.

Hello, i improved a lot the loading times but it required a structural change to datapacks making everything to be downloaded again sorry :( (but on the other hand loading times on mechanical hard drives are up to 3x faster)
