Dear players,

After many discussions and analysis of feedback, we decided to change the direction of Naval Training Center development to meet your expectations and resolve your concerns.

The part of NTC connected with resetting and revisiting ship lines will stay, however, the rewards will be fully reworked. The design process for this is not an easy task, so we can not share any details right now.

But what we can share is the new general concept:

We will fully remove direct performance buffs for ships which were originally presented in this system. Your feedback on this was clear, and we don't believe that reducing these buffs further is good (it will not resolve your concerns, and make the reward uninteresting at the same time);

We will instead focus on unique, interesting, but non-mandatory content, like new ships. For a start, we can confirm that French tier X cruiser Colbert and US tier X bat...

Hey _1204_,

Have you had time to take the Georgia out and if so what do you think? Have you gone the secondary build, survival build or kind of a mix between the two?

Hey HyenaHiena,

What about Tier VII do you find "meh"? I like Tier VII and find it to be a great tier to play a bunch of different good ships.

Hey _greifer,

That is a interesting choice and a ship that I see to fly under the radar a lot. Besides the heal, what made you choose the Abruzzi?

Glad to see y'all are enjoying Ranked Sprint, please share what ships you are enjoying and would recommend!

Hey TheDreadnought,

If you take a look at the first screenshot you will see the timer down in the bottom left hand corner.

You can see the "13" and that is your timer.

The answer to your second question is: the planes just have to be in range for the burst to occur. Remember the burst happens and then the sector gradually strengthens before returning to normal, so there is a time where you AA will "strong" and then reduce. Please also remember that there is a cooldown time on activating the sector and that is determined by the type of ship.

Hey Captains,

That is correct if you have the ship and camouflage already you will get the value in credits. If you don't already have the Texas, this is a great time to pick her up!

Please note that the information in the Development Blog is preliminary.

The World of Warships user interface is constantly improving. With the upcoming super test session, players will have access to a new battle chat system.

The following changes have been made:

Added ability to block tactical commands and text messages.

Added ability to enable/disable the battle chat in the "settings" > "controls" menu.

Added system that limits the number of uses of the "Attention to square" command in a short period of time.

These changes will allow players to reduce the amount of unwanted information from other participants of the battle, as well as to simplify the setup of their battle chat.

Please note that the information in the Development Blog is preliminary.

Hey Captains,

Thanks for your feedback on the sector changes and the suggestions on how to make the interface easier.

What are you thoughts on these proposed changes? Do you like the sectors getting a "burst" and then proceedings to strengthen, before you having to reactivate it again.

Thanks and keep the constructive feedback coming.

Hey Captains,

Thank you for your constructive feedback on the Naval Training Center, we know this was a huge announcement and we welcome the feedback. We ask that you give us feedback, not "this sucks, don't do it". Give us your reasons for not liking the Naval Training Center and gives us reason you do like it. Please remember that we want World of Warships to continue on for many years to come and the decision to make the Naval Training Center was not thought up overnight.

We take all the feedback you are giving us and read through it, so please keep it coming but keep it constructive.

Also, soon we will publish a list of questions with answers that are the most frequent and don't forget to tune into the stream tomorrow at 18:00 CEST to talk about this feature.

Hey diddlyv,

Do you happen to have a replay of the incident because this should definitely not happen.

Are you sure you weren't in smoke or they weren't in smoke? Were you in binocular view and not aware of your surroundings at the time? This happens from time to time.

Please post the replay if you have it so we can see the situation you are describing, timestamp would also be appreciated.

This is correct, you do not have to reset the line you are playing but you can reset a different line. Just remember that "national currency" can only be spent on ships of the same nation.

*In clan competitive modes, the possible levels of bonus/improvement that can be used in combat will be limited. Levels that exceed this limit will be inactive and not applied in competitive battles.

Hey Viper069,

When it comes to the proposed MM changes and divisions, this will take into account only the division commander. So the MM that is for the division commander will work for the whole division.

Hey CTMAADawson,

Well first of all the Texas is a premium =), did you mean the New York?

You have 3 good choices of lines to grind and they all have different strengths and weaknesses.

USN:

Good AA

Accurate

Decent speed once you get past the Colorado

16 in guns so they can struggle against certain cruisers

Soviet:

Good brawlers

Accurate at shorter range

Tanky when they are bow on, vulnerable sides

AA is not great until you get to the higher tiers

French:

Unique turret layouts

Decently accurate (Republique is definitely accurate)

I would say they are the least tanky of the 3 choices

AA is average

Great flankers and have speed boost

Hey henrychenhenry,

With the "updated epicenter" you are correct in that you can cap the rings independently. This leads to teams having to pay attention to all the rings and not just the middle ring. This can be good and bad as the game gets down to the wire. Smart teams will move around the map and alternate which rings they capture, especially if they have a ship advantage. The team with less ships will have to pay close attention to what rings are being captured or are captured, so they can prevent point gain.

This is a mode that you have to learn correctly to be successful in. Teams have to play together, DDs have to contest the middle with support from the team. Too often I see teams that love to skirt the flanks but not get into the rings, this is how you give the team too much control over the map. This doesn't mean charge into the middle but definitely contest the rings. Some ships are better at this than others but those ships will need sup...

Hey Incomitatus,

This is definitely an outcome I wouldn't expect to see! Mutual destruction it looks like?

Thank you for sharing this with us! Good luck in your future Savage Battles!

Hey Col_Nasty,

As others have said upgrading to the C hull will give you a lot better rudder shift time. The AA suit also changes I believe, you get less 20mm (close range) and get more bofors (middle range) which will help you deal damage to planes at a further range. My suggestion when you are looking at ships with multiple hulls is make sure you check the wiki: https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Iowa . There is a lot of valuable information there that will show you many of the things you are looking for.

The Iowa is a great ship if you play it correctly! Make sure you pay attention to where you are on the map because the speed of the Iowa can get you in trouble. Make sure you are also not one of the Iowa players that sits bow on and backs up, this is not what the Iowa is good at. The Iowa is great a being a mobile gun platform, use the speed to flank enemies. ...

Hey Captain,

There has been no change to the Yamato's gunsounds as far as I am aware of. I do play the ship quite a bit so next time I play it, I will pay particularly close attention to this.

Hey Markk9,

Congrats on getting the Kremlin and you even have the Dasha commander in there! Don't forget your camouflage before you take her out =).

Enjoy the Kremlin, the ship is great at brawling and tank but like other commanders have said be careful with your angles. The Kremlin will take a lot of damage if your show broadside.

Good luck!

Awesome, glad to hear you are enjoying the Konigsberg, you should like the Nurnberg as well then.

The Yorck is where it starts getting to be a slightly different playstyle but personally I love the Yorck =).

Good luck on your grind up the German cruiser line!

Hey Captains,

Just giving you a heads up that Clan Brawl will not have CVs.

Thanks!
