Good bug! We have a fix in for this in the next patch.

- **Video / Screenshot:** None

- **Steps to reproduce:** Go to the firing range and choose 5m. right click the bucky at the blue dummy's chest and note that hits for 20 (1). Choose 10m, right click the bucky at the blue dummy's chest, and note that it hits for (15) pellets.

- **Expected result:** Right click < 5m should hit for all 15 pellets.

- **Observed result:** Right click < 5m only hits for 1 pellet.

- **Reproduction rate:** 100%

- **System specs:** Not relevant

As /u/RocketHops mentioned, this is working as intended. If you fire it at too close a range, it will only deal 20 damage from the slug, because it hasn't yet reached a far enough distance to burst.

The clips should still work, it just doesn't show you the overlay. There's a bug in the latest shadowplay update.

VALORANT is currently CPU limited for high end machines. This basically means that if you've got a pretty modern GPU and you're playing at 1080p (say, a 1050 or better), then you're most likely going to be limited by your CPU.

We're working on optimizing it further :-)

Ram on 3000, cleaned less than 3 weeks ago, low cpu usage for some reason. I don't understand the issue :/ Warzone gives me more fps ffs.

We're actively looking into improving AMD CPU optimization. In our testing prior to beta release, we saw that we were unable to push Ryzen CPUs close to 100% util, they tended to stay at around 60% util on a single core at best. Intel CPUs on the other hand are utilized up to around 90%.

Didn't resolved. I opened it, and everything was the same.

Do i have anyway to uninstall all files and valorant to reinstall and get all default again?

Sorry for bothering you!

You could try deleting everything in that whole folder and then launch, see if that fixes it?

Also make sure that you changed your Nvidia settings back to default.

If that doesn't fix it, I'd recommend reaching out to player support, I'm not an expert in troubleshooting this kind of thing.

Unfortunately this is just the design of windowed fullscreen. It will always match your desktop's resolution. Fullscreen will match your monitor's native resolution. This is mostly an Unreal/Windows concept. We are shipping out a few updates to window mode, so the behavior might change to how you want it in a couple of weeks, but I don't think so.

You could try windowed?

I have had a ticket open from riot support but they stopped responding. Its been 4 days since the last time i wrote back and the responses i've gotten have been.. well... quite redundant and dumb. Here is the ticket id: #47176064 In case you would like to take yourself a look. There i have explained every way i have tried to fix this problem and also gone into detail about the steps taken when doing said fix. Notice that the riot support keep suggesting me to do the same things i have told them i have already tried. Some things that arent in there because i dont want to bump my ticket to get another week for them to reply is that i've looked for any of suspicious .sys files that another thread was talking about (gdrv.sys , any of the vbox, etc) but i have NONE of those on my computer...

A. Please do not flame riot support. I understand you're frustrated, but it's just rude.

B. We're working on ways to better identify if there's a problematic driver/program on your machine. If you are tired of trying these steps, please just wait and hopefully a future update will help!

But okay, can you explain me how i can restore the default settings please?

(Sorry if my english is not the best)

Hm, there's not an option for it actually.

You could force it by going to this folder "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ShooterGame\Saved\Config" and deleting the folder with the long string of letters and numbers (you should have just one, or maybe two if someone else plays on your PC). This will force the game to use defaults.

Windowed fullscreen will only run at your monitor's native resolution.

If you want to use a lower (or higher) resolution than your monitor's native resolution, use Fullscreen, or Windowed.

Were you trying to force a stretched resolution? We do not support stretched resolution in VALORANT.

Please try restoring default settings - it doesn't even show a monitor selected in your screenshot, so I think you may have gotten the game into a bad state.

Thanks for the report! We're aware that shotguns are particularly rough on performance for low end PC's, and we're looking into some optimizations for that :-)

CPU bound? that's not good news for me I ntgl threw most of the money on GPU since I live in a low type country we think for gaming all u need is a graphics card so while I have a good graphics card my CPU is really shitty

If you want the best FPS, you can get a pretty decent CPU upgrade for not too high of a price. However for most relatively modern CPUs you should be able to do just fine (60+ FPS). We're CPU-limited on the high end, but more GPU limited on the low end, if that makes sense.
