Get rid of it. Completely. Kill it. At the very end of the game, we shouldn't be getting plankerton tier rewards. Or at the very least make it impossible for rare and uncommon perk-up to appear in the new zones over PL100 recommended that's coming in v8.50.

So are you saying that as an endgame player.. you would be okay with playing down into Stonewood / Plankerton (also earning Stonewood / Plankerton evo materials / XP) to farm it if you needed to? (theoretically if you ran out of Uncommon PERK and needed it to level up a schematic)

To be fair, tweaking the issue with a blaster not spawning (could be as simple as a toggle) is definitely not on the same scale of a large scale matchmaking issue.

One is easily hotfixable while the other may require a larger client patch. Lots of stuff happening behind closed doors, I promise.

I definitely understand where you are coming from. This bug is definitely a pain point for both the community and developers. We're working extremely hard on this.

Also, regarding slipping through, this bug actually wasn't happening until after the client went live. This wasn't encountered in any of the testing on the build beforehand.

But a game breaking bug like the one we are having now in STW could have been easily spotted by playing the game for 10 minutes (like 1 match?).

I have no idea how game development works but I have played many game and never seen such bugs can slip out.

Unfortunately, this bug only appeared after the client went live. This behavior wasn't experienced in any of our testing.

We're still working to get a fix implemented. We have an idea of what is causing the problem but it may require a new client as opposed to a hotfix. We're still plugging away to get this taken care of.

This issue has definitely been a tough one and I can assure you that we're hitting this from every direction to get it resolved. We've been compiling and gathering player logs from THIS POST to help determine what is causing these kicks. We've been diligently working on this to pin point the cause so that we can roll out a fix.

This issue didn't appear in any testing and appeared when the build went live. I promise we're working to get this taken care of.

This issue is definitely harder pin down and we're coming at it from all angles to get this taken care of.

And even then, bugs may not be found simply because the situation in question never came up.

Quit thinking that just because a bug is found it can be just wished away by the programmers. That's not how things work.

Thank you for this response u/BindaI. Some bugs are definitely harder to fix than others. This one has been exceptionally tricky to locate and fix. We don't intentionally leave bugs active "just because". The team has been diligently digging in to get this issue taken care of.

Hey everyone, I know this is huge issue and pain point right now. I can assure everyone that this is a top priority for us right now. We've been parsing through all the logs that have been sent to us via this post. We're making every effort to get this resolved ASAP.

I definitely understand the sentiment around not having enough gold to purchase the items in the shop. I will bring this to the attention of the team as well.

The Blasters have escaped! We're rounding them up and will have them back in no time. We have this listed on our Trello Board for tracking.

Initially, these missions didn't give lower grade PERK materials. However, based on community feedback (and there was a lot of it), players were unhappy that they had to go down into lower tier missions to farm for Uncommon PERKUP.

This change allows higher level players to play missions of their level, collecting higher tiered rewards, while still able to maintain uncommon PERKUP.

However, the change that we made recently which gave back full investment of PERKUP has caused players to have a large amount of uncommon / rare PERKUP. I can bring this up with design and see where we stand after those changes.

Looking through the threads (like the main update/patch thread) it was the top voted comment, so it looks like a some kind of server side issue, and I didn't see any solutions. Sometimes people are able to join games and get kicked part way through, some can't even join them at all. I'm just giving up trying for a while and hoping they fix it...too frustrating.
