Pretty sure I did this on a dev-stream a good while back... not my proudest moment.
Pretty sure I did this on a dev-stream a good while back... not my proudest moment.
I'll pass this on to the QA team... Seems really weird.
Rock and Stone, miner.
A successful mission nevertheless.
Well done, Rock and Stone!
I like it!
"Now you're thinking with
portalsglyphids."
Thanks for helping me start my day with a laugh. Rock and Stone!
Rock and Stone!
Say hi to Mike for me!
*Waves*
I tried ot sing this many times but i have no idea how
Then I hope you are a better miner than you are a singer... Now get back to work!
I always did and still partly do despite the fact I know it's downs
Actually, I'm pretty sure it's dinosaurs.
How about Flare cosmetics? Ala the Pick Axe station.
It sure would be neat!
Neat indeed! No plans, but could happen further down the line. Certainly would not prioritize it now.
Do you have plans to bring any flare customization back, via "choose wisely" upgrades?
For example, something like
- Pick one: 1 more maximum flare OR flares burn 5 seconds longer
- Pick one: Flares fly further OR flares burn brighter
No plans for any flare mods at the moment.
Just for clarification, the increase is only for the announced pure Mactera waves, not mixed waves or the smaller unannounced waves.
you sure?
The recharge feels slower.
Can confirm, the flares are now "fully upgraded" from start.
The windows save is just in your AppData folder which is hidden by default but definitely accessible.
I walked a guy through transferring the save both ways (before u31 dropped though) and it worked. Just had to rename the file and change file type as described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DeepRockGalactic/comments/e7hptr/how_to_transfer_your_steam_save_to_windows_10_and/
Seeing as it's so easy, it would be nice to get some official support here. Maybe something like making both files .sav format as less windows-savvy people sometimes have issues with that part (you need to enable a setting to change extensions in explorer).
Cross-play (or cross-ownership at least) would be ideal of course, but this does help smooth things over.
Good to know, thanks!
Management is very proud of you... Now get back to work!
That's totally up to you, the devs are some of the best so supporting them by re buying doesn't hurt.
I've also been told you can copy and paste your save file between the Microsoft and steam version to keep your progress, though I haven't done it yet.
I actually don't think you can transfer saves, Im pretty sure the win10 save is not accesable.
Not 100% sure, but please don't buy the Steam version thinking you can transfer your save. I'll need to poke the QA guys for an official confirmation.
So I would say definatelly give it a try on win10 first. You can also find more Xbox/Win10 people to play with on our discord server.
Basically graphical surfaces that shoot out from the characters, extend across the screen, and make it almost impossible to see in-game. Have also had numerous false walls appear across the entire map that you can't see through, but otherwise are unable to interact with. For us on Xbox it happens in one of about every 5 multiplayer games and usually ends in failure as a result.
Ok, just poked out QA master about it, and they are still working on it. Apparently its rather tricky and probably will require that we update to a newer version of the engine so they are also preparing the project for that but it's no small task.
Sorry, I don't exactly recall. Maybe the biozone or radioactive biome?
No worries. Please let me know if it happens again.
Will it include a fix for the graphics issues?
I hope so! I'm not a programmer so not really sure, but the code-boys are busy fixing bugs so I'm sure they are working on it.
Is there any specific issue you have in mind?
Awesome, thank you!
Rock and Stone!
