Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta.txt (1.7 KB)
Sorry, didn’t see the category error. Give that a go.

Same instructions as above.
Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta.txt (1.6 KB)
Give that a shot and let me know how it goes. Remove the .txt before putting it back in that folder. The name needs to be exactly “Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta”
The temp files are auto generated backups that you should be able to ignore.
Edit: also, good news I think I just figured it all out.
If you post your Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta file here (from your saves folder) I can fix it.
You have to add .txt to the end or the forum won’t let you upload it.
I’ve got a lead on what’s happening. Recreating the scenario is shockingly difficult so testing it isn’t going great. The information in this thread has been incredibly helpful. Thank you all and I’m sorry it’s not quite as smooth a transition as I had expected.
Thanks Pyrotics, this is what I had come up with too. I’m working on a way to have it not happen in the first place and hopefully fix the ones that it is already happening to.
Edit: I also edited your post to show the username, if you use angle brackets like that it hides it because it thinks it’s markdown.
We definately talked about having a free respec after completing that quest and it’s still on the table. We figured the gold coast is probably not prohibitive for most people playing normally in that initial tree. We probably won’t be changing it for a 0.7.8 hotfix but we do have the topic on the docket to talk about.
That’s a good point. I’m not sure how the build planner would tie in to that whole thing. I feel like it will have the same UI as the actual building UI.
That’s an option we considered, only problem is that people want to be able to look ahead and plan. The nodes almost need a popup error that self vanishes when you try and put the points in.
It’s a tough one because I’m not sure it affects new players that much. It’s more of a problem for returning players and I’m wondering if those questions will just vanish once people get used to the new system.
Having said that, I do think we need a little better explanations other than the one popup at the start that everyone closes.
Thanks, that’s very helpful.
That’s a big stash file haha. I took a look at it and it seems to be totally fine. I loaded it in and I can’t really see the issue with it. Can you be more specific as to the problem? Does it solve itself after a reload?
Yea, order they were created does mean order in the category. The tabs are technically not rearrangeable right now. The categories are just filters. I think I can do something to make it feel more like they are and possibly make them dragable.
Hi Hydeo, I’ve seen a couple people with an issue like this. Could you send me your Epoch_Local_Global_Data_Beta file from your saves directory so I can attempt to fix it? You’ll have to add .txt to the end of the file name for the forum to allow you to upload it.
I’m looking in to what would actually cause this but it’s just so weird. I think that a bad load happened at one point and is causing the stash to save in a messed up state. I’m going to be putting failsafes in to correct these cases.
Technically each tab is always in the same “order” as when it was created. I’ll see what we can do here. Good catch.
Welcome to the community Mckenon!
Sorry no, when we do have a set date for multiplayer, it will be very obvious on the front page of our website, steam page, facebook page, subreddit, everywhere.
Hi Susceptr, welcome to the forums. We don’t currently have tooltip dps as an available feature yet. This is something we are working on and will be improved as development continues.
Thanks, that’s great info.
