I was getting a little bored, I’m sure we could find something to do in here These are all off the cuff replies and I can’t guarantee any will be done.

I am very interested in what other people think about these also and suggest that you leave your reply before reading mine.

• Crafting Too Late: Yea I would agree with this, I think we might move it up to the council chambers at some point. Maybe after a side quest? I like linking it to the smelting halls quests.
• Endless Enemies: I like the voice line hint. I’d be concerned about people who play with the sound off completely. Maybe some void that expands behind you forcing you forward>
• Quest Items Feel Clunky: Yea, I’m not sure if we will make them a physical item, letting them be dropped is rough, especially with the zone persistence the way it currently is. I think the item icon ...

A few other general things that you can do are: turn on streamer mode, try changing your windowed/full screen setting and turn off damage numbers.

You’re welcome, you’ll be able to turn them back on next patch and it will stay smooth.

Hi @Sanctuarys_Reaper we’ve got the problem tracked down and it should be fixed for next patch. It actually probably is taking inputs but is just really shy about it. The visuals get stuck faded out and won’t fade back in. Restarting the client, while annoying, should fix it, at least temporarily.

Hi WhoopinOnYou, I’m sorry to hear you’re having this problem. We have a few updates for this area that should help with this issue next patch. It’s a really tough nut to crack but we’re optimistic. If this crash is consistent, can you bring up your memory usage on screen while you play to see if it’s capping out while playing. I also noticed that you’re installing it on your D drive, is that an SSD? We’ve had some issues with people who are playing on a platter drive. (long shot though)

@W4rM4ch1ne can you try turning damage numbers off and see if it helps? We just found a bunch of frames laying around in that system with large numbers of mobs.

It will be fixed in the next patch if this is the issue.

Hi Ferriun, sorry you’re having issues with this. We appreciate the report and are working to solve this issue as soon as we can. I hope I can put your mind at ease about the temperature though. Graphics cards are designed to run at much higher temperatures than 60 degrees C, so if you’re still in that range you aren’t in any danger of damaging your card from the heat. I know it’s probably way hotter than most games and we’re working to reduce that.

I gave this article a quick skim and it looks to be pretty good if you’re looking for more in depth reading. It’s a couple years old but not much has changed in this regard in the last 5 years. ...

Thanks for those logs bashismashi, it’s really helpful to get that info. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution to fix from that info. You can try some of the steps in the reply above if you’d like. We have some fixes coming down the pipe that should help with this situation. They unfortunately won’t be available until patch 0.7.8.

There are a lot of factors that could contribute to crashes like this. We can’t initiate a support email like that unfortunately. Some quick things you can try to improve stability are:

• Play in full screen instead of windowed mode
• Enable streaming mode in the settings
• Turn down the graphics settings

Yea, I’m sorry this happened. We’re testing a completely revamped saving and loading system. The current one has some major issues with crashes and corrupting the save files. Until that comes out, if you are experiencing frequent crashes, you might want to consider making a manual backup.

How do you get rid of the border? Is it by switching to full screen?

I’m a little confused because as far as I know, there are 3 modes:

• Full Screen (no border)
• Windowed Full Screen (no border)
• Windowed (border)
  In windowed, you can click maximize in the border but this isn’t what I mean by windowed full screen.

When you’re in windowed full screen, (not maximized window mode), do you still have the border?

hmm, should be, windowed full screen shouldn’t have the border at the top, what’s your operating system?

I don’t have an exact solution for you but you could try changing to Windowed Full Screen instead of Full Screen Exclusive mode. I have 3 monitors and that’s how I play.

Which soul skill are you referring to? I suspect it is related to a specific component on some skills. We can see the skills that OP has equipped, is it one of those?

Was the 201 druid done in the first week or so of patch 0.7.7? If so, this problem has been fixed but characters that were affected by it don’t automatically fix themselves.

There is a fine line between convenient and arcade-y. We know it’s not at convenient yet. We are adding features to make it more convenient. If we swing too far all at once, it will feel arcade-y and once you add convenience features, it’s very difficult to roll them back. We welcome feedback as we progress with these systems.

We do have another druid transform planned.

Hi there, sorry to hear this is happening to you. We have a very small OSX player base so sometimes obscure problems take a while to surface. Do you have a launcher.log file by any chance beside the epoch launcher that could be shared?

How’s your disk space looking? Plenty of room? Are you installing it on your main drive or a secondary drive?

Hi there, I’m not seeing a chat ban on your account or any failed log in attempts. Do you have a Player.log file that I could see to find an issue in? Are you still having the issue after closing the game fully and repoening?
