Hey there Owlboy83, is the error message that you’re getting “failed to connect to chat and ladder”? If so, that error message is a little out of date and only actually means to say “failed to connect to ladder” as the chat has been moved on to a different server. We have updated the error message for the next patch.

As for fixing the problem itself, I’m not sure why you aren’t able to connect. We do have one known bug with it that causes problems but your account doesn’t seem to be affected. You can try launching the game exe directly with steam off and entering your website account credentials to log in instead. That might work. We will be moving the ladder on to a new server also which won’t have the connection issues that this one has.

We also don’t have full online multiplayer yet so everyone is really playing offline. I’m not sure if that’s clear or not based on your support request.

Hey guys, thanks for the log files. They have been useful in solving this bug. We are working on it and we believe that we’ve made some headway with it. A fix should be coming down the pipe soon.

When the game detects an input from a controller, it automatically switches over to that input mode. I think some controllers, especially nice flight sticks like that one send info to the game based on stick position just while being connected. We’ll look in to an option to disable controller detection. For now, we’ll unfortunately have to get you to unplug the joysticks while playing.

If you are having the account linking login loop issue, please try doing a hard refresh and trying again now. (ctrl + F5)

Progress! We’ve got a few people with this issue. Most people have reported that it will start eventually.

It’s a mistake in the program. We are working to get it fixed still.

With regards to fixing it. Sometimes deleting the folder and re-extracting it has fixed it.

If you’re trying to get the launcher to install on another drive than C, it will still check your C drive for space. If you can free up some space there, it should work.

If it’s the installer saying this, you can simply say OK and it will work.

Account linking just started working about 2 mins ago. Go for steam guys!

Sorry, does the launcher tell you that you have the wrong password or does the game tell you?

It’s all good guys, we know it’s very frustrating. We’ve all been customers in the same situation for other games too.

We’re working hard to get it up an running. It is really unfortunate that it’s not going smooth.

If it says alpha in the top left then you’ll not be able to log in.

If it still says alpha at the top left, you’ll need to open the game with the launcher to get the update.

Yea, sorry guys, we’re trying to get both issues fixed. Unfortunately they were each supposed to kinda be a backup for the other.
