It's worth noting that a while back more of the Krug camp got pushed into the mini krugs to make champions have to sit there longer to get full gold/xp from the camp.

IMO Ivern should get full "normal camp" rewards (75-85 gold for all non-buff camps / 145-170 xp for all non-gromp camps, before machete) since Ivern clears all camps in the same amount of time and health/mana lost

Currently, Ivern gets 39 gold and 37 xp, which yeah, is about half the gold and significantly less xp.

Totally agree with you. Ivern should be special cased into getting more rewards from the camp. I just don't think he should get full krugs value.

Actually I was super hyped knowing cool stuff was coming out. And I played hundreds of hours of VALORANT/LoR before release.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome that y’all get to experience this stuff, too now. But I was holding it together by getting to play kickass games early :)

Not an expert on the space nor an expert on this game in particular, but to try to put it in newbie-friendly terms as best I understand it:

Many (most?) fighting games are 1v1. I pick a character. You pick a character. We fight until one of us dies. Sometimes it's best of 3 so we go again with health bars refilled. But regardless, we just fight until one of us dies.

An assist-based fighter is a 2v2, 3v3, or more. However, we're still sort of playing a 1v1. I may have 2 or 3 characters on my team, but the baseline is still that same 1v1 from before and we're mostly 1v1 at any given time. The reason it's a 2v2 or a 3v3 is that I can do two special things:

I can swap my fighter mid-round. I can also have both my characters on screen for a short time, making a brief 2v1 (hence the "assist" moniker). The how (other than "hit assist button") and why are beyond my knowledge of fighting games.

And because teams are 2+ characters deep, the round only ends whe...

Hahaha no way they will.

At the time I was worried people would interpret “after Sjokz” as some sort of lust/chasing thing even though the context was obvious. Glad it ended up just being a simple banger :)

Hi I'm replying to your reply that ends in "assblasted"

That either means games are a stomp or riot has to make the game have insanely bullshit comeback mechanics that work on long shots not skill. It's the complete opposite of what you want in a game. Long shot comeback mechanics that make playing the game poorly okay becauise you just have to keep throwing yourself at the enemy until you cash in..

"short 20 minute games"

Show me that quote anywhere from designers or producers on League of Legends.

riot wants to move away from that... They don't want teams that got good fundamentals to win (altho mostly they do)

RNG drakes, bounties.. and now even more bounties!

Now I get it's not completely vaporising leads from good teams.. But it's still ridiculous, even more so in soloQ. Great way to get punished as a team when someone misses smite!

This game is becoming more and more of a disney-feelhappy-clownfiesta mobile battle royale game everyday

Good fundamentals

Losing because of getting picked off or losing objectives while ahead

Pick one.

The distinction probably doesn't make much difference on users like Vex that would have died without this item.

Yeah if they’re gonna try to kill you from full to dead, then it’s a tank stat. Just not sure how many 1/3 hp Vexes have this back up.

EDIT: worth mentioning for those who don't realize, that 50% dmg reduction => 2x eHP increase, 75% => 4x (= 1/0.25). They've effectively doubled the item's effectiveness (during Safeguard).

IMO that’s not quite the right way to think about it. If it were permanent, yeah. But this is more akin to a shield and it blocks 50% more damage now. Still quite the buff, don’t get me wrong. But it should be thought of as a shield and not as core tank stats.

Thanks :)

Sounds like you're just trash at it. Stay bronze, my friend.

Kinda like Panarin in the NHL if that makes any sense here

The official wording is very clear. He played a split in a worlds-qualifying league.

I don’t know the LEC rookie rules. They would not have been rookies in the LCS if they played (iirc) half a split in the TCL or LCL similar.

It’s a trait I want to keep but I’m still figuring out the tuning and frequency.

And if so, what’s the requirement for a player to be viewed as a rookie by the league?

No he wasn’t.

Am I… and I about to be in a /r/DontYouKnowWhoIAm screenshot?

LCS league rules dictate one split in a Worlds-qualifying league is your rookie split.

LPL league rules dictate one split in the LPL is your rookie split.

Dude played in a league and qualified for Worlds. He’s wasn’t a rookie.
