Yea, we are both on Steam, and we can both see that we're playing the game. We've played countless other games on Steam together, all which have worked flawlessly.

We've done a couple of expeditions solo now, but it's still not working. Maybe it's a bug or something.

You do need to be done with the tutorial to play CO-op. Have you tried just inviting her directly through Steam? Basically when you hit that invite button, it’s just gonna bring up the steam overlay. So you can right click on her name to invite her or to join her game directly from the friends list. See if that works.

After nearly 14 years I finally had one. 👌

I’m really depressed. Back when they first started their patreon they ran an auction and I won a signed bottle. It sat on my desk for over 12 years. Upon moving recently it was in a box that went missing. 😭

What’s next? Well we will continue to add content throughout Early Access as we work towards 1.0 later this year.

Some of those things we’ll be adding systems such as Server Browsers, matchmaking and discord invites, as well as content like a new Wayfinder, a brand new zone, more housing and more.

Beyond 1.0 we hope we can continue to expand the game with more characters and content as long as we have players purchasing the game and continuing to play.

Thanks again for all the support. Once you’ve played Echoes help us by telling others what you think by leaving an honest Steam Review (it really does help!) as well as telling your friends you want to play co-op with to check us out.

Welcome to the Wayfinder Echoes Update!
What is The Echoes Update? When online games such as Wayfinder reach the end of their service, they tend to disappear forever. This is the unfortunate reality when games lose funding, can't cover the costs of servers or staff, and face countless other challenges.

Having all played titles that have gone through this cycle, we wanted to take a different approach. We cherish the world our team has created and the characters we've introduced to our players, and we don't want them to be lost in the Gloom. After reviewing your DXDIAG you do not meet the minimum requirements for CPU or GPU. So you may be able to run the game but the performance and experience will not be ideal.

it worked fine prior to the echoes update, so im a bit surprised about it having difficulties now, but its not exactly a gamebreaker for me either

Yeah unfortunately that card is under spec. We didn’t change our requirements for echoes but we did change the way that textures are streamed to reduce hitches so that’s why it performance differently.

  • You can now view and select backup saves at the main menu.
  • Fixed certain devices being recognized as a controller and taking precedence over your keyboard and mouse.
  • Fixed an issue where marking an item to sell would highlight the item below it.
  • The Satiated buff now uses the correct icon.
  • Fixed some cases where using a non-English language would cause save issues.

Yeah im not gonna buy the super expensive keys, its just a bummer that they did headstart, always have hated that. My friends are very much hype/FoTM players, so by the time I get my hands on the game they will probably be close to done with it.

Sorry, your friends didn’t wait. FWIW we didn’t advertise this as a head start, the entire purpose was to find game breaking issues (and we have, hotfix coming early this week!) before we put it out there on sale again as it’s pretty much out last chance to make an good impression.
