There was never any suggestion that development as stopped, so for the time being, we will keep the relevant and current response pinned.

All that has stopped is news and social media. We have communicated that from the start. There has not been any mention of development stopping whatsoever.

Patches do not always have set in stone months. Many of them have broken the "trends" of what or when people have predicted them to come, how large or small they will be compared to previous years and a whole host of other guesswork based on previous releases. As we have said, we have not confirmed any release date or schedule for the next major as we do not with any major update.

As grom has already said, we don't even do this for other previous majors. This one is no different. All news and publications have stopped for now for reasons previously explained. When there is news to share in the areas of blogs or the major update, we will.

Nobody is skirting around anything. We do not do this and its well established now. This major is no exception.

We have been as open and transparent as possible about why we have stopped news and what that includes. Im really not sure what more you believe can really be said at this stage, especially as grom pointed out, the types of questions being asked are never answered generally.

Most of the playerbase is generally very understanding of why things have stopped and there really is not much impatience and frustration about a lack of blogs. Most of that seems to be emulating and perpetuating from this topic and some of the individuals in it on a daily cycle.

The whole situation has been heavily considered and the outcome is what we have currently implemented.

We haven't announced any date for the patch before anyway. So nothing regarding that is in question.

We cannot say news has been stopped all together as if we have to publish a minor patch or technical issue, naturally they will be published. But in terms of all publications, as evidenced by the lack of shooting range this weekend and the multiple times we have no clarified this, until further notice, there will be no other publications.

The VK team had not quite been informed fully of the coverage of news and publications. As you can see for yourself, we did not have the shooting range this weekend.
