This report refers to the current armour basically asking it to be reverted. According to the developers the previous armour scheme was based off of unverified source material that was used in error. Right now they are based on the most accurate figures that can be detained from verified source material. The scheme was then re-corrected to the values that could be properly verified. Thus it was reverted back to the values that could be verified.


No actual source material was presented in this report. It was just asking for a reversion. New verified source material would be needed

Nobody is being punished as a result of anything.


The CDK and several other elements are being updated and with that comes many changes including better file storage optimization.


Just to clarify, we do not and have never accepted bug reports based solely on datamined information. We have also not stopped taking bug reports. They are processed every day. Generally at the moment we receive hundreds of new topic per day. All of which need to be checked which takes considerable time given how many don't follow the guidelines.

You don't need to play them if you don't want to, but for those that do, its an additional line-up spot and also a fully historical vehicle for Italy to have.

Replacing it with another vehicle is not making it more unique. Keeping the M4A4 is taking nothing away from a Tipo.


Italy used it. There is no reason to remove it.

Thats perfectly fine and could be a potential addition in the future. However its no reason to remove a historical vehicle. Folders also exist if it was required.

As an existing historical tank, a replacement is not necessary and very unlikely.

Not really so much about missing, just in terms of missiles, we have a lot more on practically every other one in game currently. Seems there is not a huge amount on the C-7.

If you believe something is wrong with the FM and have any evidence to present in a report we can gladly forward it to the devs for review.


However to clarify, we haven't added it and created its FM as it is because "Gaijin not want another OP counter for her precious mig 15/17 who must stay the aces of the game". That quite literally has nothing to do with anything as we have the BR system that can move something up or down based on how it does.


For the FM, we make it as close to reality as possible.

As we said previously, we have a few more domestic vehicles under work for Japan on various ranks. They key issue being for many is pictorial references but also more detailed specifications on armour, internals and other key factors.

No but on a serious note, please refer to the answer the devs provided a short time ago:


Type 10 is basically the end of the line for Japan. On top of this, much is still very much unknown about it. We are also not in a position currently where the Type 90s themselves are no longer competitive.


Whilst we fully understand people are excited for this machine as it is indeed a very cool MBT, its still too soon to be talking about it right now.

We have never stated vehicles are released as soon as the model is finished outside of when they are planned to come. This has never been a policy.


Textures are often one of the last things to be completed on visual models (as you rightly pointed out with the Type 16) however its never been the case that a finished model = instant deployment. Assets have sat in the CDK for many years and sometimes never used at all.

They are personal interpretations and not actually what was said. Trying to apply it to every single case when we have said countless times a vehicle on the CDK is meaningless. No matter how "complete" you assume it to be.


Vehicles are also not introduced as soon as they are ready unless they were planned for that update which the Leopard 2A6 was.


As I said before, the claim we were responding too was "vehicles are introduced as soon as they are textured". Which as we have concluded already, is a false and made up claim as nobody has ever said that.

None of these say anything directly along the lines of what was claimed. As Grom said, posts have been misinterpreted and taken out of a previous context and tied to be applied to every context.


If you look at what we were actually responding too earlier, this was the claim:


Nowhere, in either of those posts of mine you posted was this stated. Nore has any Gaijin staff member claimed this. So yes, it was a baseless false claim.


A texture being ready does not mean it's coming soon or even fully ready. None of those previous posts claimed that.

No such claims were made. We have said many times stuff being in the CDK / Files is meaningless. Skins / textures can often be some of the last things made. But it doesn't mean something textured gets immediately released unless its planned to come, if at all.
