wanted to chime in here as well!

most of the issue here stems from 2v2 being the best way to get max cards on collection day, because it isn't 'gimmicky' like wallbreaker rush etc and is more 'true/skillbased'.

me and seth talked last night about adding a 1v1 tournament standard/ladder level mode to collection day to combat this.

it's become increasingly clear from feedback that it isn't the 2v2 game mode itself which is missed by pro clans, but rather the chance to win a more 'true' skill-based match and therefore maximise your collection day cards. (of course there is also those that just play 2v2 because they actually like it)

we will talk more with the team on monday but if we feel this is a good solution then it will go in on tuesday alongside the balance update.

i've been getting several of these reports from our community - i recently helped out deckshop & progress royale with the same problem (but i am not sure if it helped) and now it seems to be affecting others.

as this seems to be a bit bigger than a one off i'll be chatting to the rest of our supercell community managers about this. it is likely affecting their communities too, and i will see if we can chat to the right people at google about this.

in the meantime, i've DM'ed you my contact info, if you can shoot me an email i can follow up with instructions on how we can try to resolve it!

i went through your account with our royale player support lead today and unfortunately the account will remain banned.

we went through previous email/in-game support correspondence and in the past messages you were given several warnings (with explanations on what was done wrong so that you could avoid it in the future).

one thing i did give feedback on was to make this reasoning even more visible in our player correspondence, so that there is less confusion surrounding account bans.

i hope this clears up the situation for you.

you were banned for account sharing - we don't ban players for asking to change their supercell id email.

you may have started the investigation checks when asking for this, but it was not the reason you were banned.

  • 'why didn't i get a warning?'

your account received a 2 day ban & warning on 4th feb for breaking our terms of service

  • 'someone else did it and didn't get banned, so i dont deserve to be banned'

that's not how this works, but even if it was, you were already given a warning on the 4th feb and a 2 day ban.

This Season we take a look at the infamous Zappies - a card that has been the center of balance discussion since it faded out of the meta.

ZAPPIES

  • Damage: +20%
  • Hit Speed: 1.6s -> 2.0s (25% slower)
  • Faster ‘First Attack’ on target: 1.4sec -> 1sec
  • Staggered Deploy Time: 0.15sec (like Goblin Gang, Minion Horde)

WHY?

Zappies is a tough design to balance – while they are fragile and low damage, they had the ability to stunlock enemies unless they could be dealt with. We want you to be able to play your cards, so having other cards that shut down interaction is a no-no. When Zappies were competitively viable before, the meta became overly defensive and difficult to break through.

HOW?

Ultimately, the stun-locking is the biggest problem with Zappies so it made the most sense...

I just want to see if we can please get an update on wars. We have built a really strong war clan and it's hard to maintain as it is so stale. We should not be battling clans with 3k trophies as we have 10x what they have. I would just like ANY update on wars or even that it's in the works. CWA recently did a video on the state of the game mentioning wars being stale. Taking a shot at my comment getting some attention and hopefully a response. I do have to add in that I still spend too much time in the game but wars is the only reason I still play. Thank you for the many hours of entertainment!
