Hey there @veico_cm - I am sorry to hear that you believe the buffs provided by your armour and its equipped runes to not be working correctly.

For us to look into this with the development team and assess whether the behaviour you're witnessing is as intended or an issue, I would like to ask that you record a short video clip showing your loadout and rune set-up, as well as how much damage you apply when attacking an enemy. It would also be great if you could provide a screenshot showing the overall stats for your build, so that we can use this information for reference.

Thanks for letting me know that you didn't attempt to buy the item, @spirantcrayon22 - I've advised the development team of this now. In the meantime, I can see that they were able to reproduce the issue with being able to purchase already owned settlement decorations with a different item (Loki's Statue) so this is good progress! 🙂 Thanks again for your report!

The developers have reached out to us, and would like to confirm the following details / request the following resources from players affected by this issue whereby already acquired items can be bought again for Opals:

  • Can you please confirm if you were able to successfully purchase the duplicate item, and saw Opals deducted?

Hey everyone,

Thank you all for your reports of looping background audio, sound effects and dialogue lines in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The development team are already investigating issues of this nature, and would like to gather additional information from anyone else who may be experiencing similar problems. The questions they would like to receive answers to are the following:

  • Which platform(s) are you playing on?
  • What type of audio is looping or repeating? (If dialogue, please write out the lines of dialogue)
  • Which quest did you complete immediately before the issue started occurring?
  • What is the quest that you are currently doing, and are seeing the issue occurring during?
  • If you fast-travel to another country besides England, does the audio still loop?
  • If you reboot the game, does the issue still occur?

Hello all! I've merged your threads / comments together as they were all discussing the same topic.

Regarding the torches not flickering / producing flames when in use, can you please confirm whether fast travelling to another area or reloading your save resolves this issue, as described by D4rKy26? If you're consistently experiencing this issue, would it be possible for you to provide a short video clip showing this so that we can investigate further? It would be helpful to know the circumstances in which you are using the torch, where you are on the map, and if you have recently completed a particular objective / world event / quest etc. Thank you! 🙂
