Landing on the launchpads while you are Slamming can cause some interesting interactions. It makes me giggle every time.
Great job! I love using the Ripper sometimes. My current go-to is the Harpy :P
If you are having issues connecting or experiencing lag, I highly suggest reaching out to our support team so they can check into this for you!
I personally suggest checking out Gameplan! It has lots of solid tips and tricks videos available. Alternatively, spending some time in the Training Area helps a lot to get used to the feel of each weapon and understanding what range they have.

The team has seen several posts advising for an exponential curve for controller. I don't have details if this is something they are considering, but it has been passed along at least! The team is continuing to read through feedback on the controller experience and working towards improving the experience.
I've noticed the Riot One has started to come up more, especially on Console. The common suggestions I've seen were to either decrease the fire rate or to add damage drop off to the Riot.

The only thing that was changed was the Turbo Mode Crown Timer was changed to 60 seconds, which we posted a Tweet about. It also activated the Double XP weekend and delivered extra gifts for some players. That's all it was!

I've seen some discussions from EU and NA scrim players who had a similar idea to have a day where they squadfill for an hour one day to talk with other players and give tips. I personally think it is a great start. Although I can't share details yet, we have a project that is similar in line to this kind of idea. We'll have something to share soon!

As for the new player experience, the team recognizes this as a high priority. Although I can't give specific details yet, the team is working on several different things to help improve the new player experience. We value personal experiences from those newer players to help us understand things they believe are crucial and would significantly help. (For example, moving bots in the training area is a popular request).
