I think that the mods are censoring the site. Someone made a topic with a very lengthy post regarding the shuffler and it got deleted. It wasn't merged into the shuffler mega thread; it was flat out deleted.
I don’t think this is true. We would need to get some screen shots together before we get this paranoid.

Your topic was probably removed because it used the word "spoiler" and linked to an outside website. You can totally discuss cards that have been previewed, but if you use the word "spoiler" a mod might think you're actually trying to talk about "spoilers" (or leaks).
Also, if you'd like to know why your posts are removed, please don't make a post. Just contact our support team.

No one is censoring anything lol. It was probably removed because the post broke our Code of Conduct, or people in the replies started attacking each other. No matter how well thought out a post is, if there is a portion that breaks CoC, it gets removed. You're welcome to discuss the shuffler if you follow the CoC.

The general rule of the forums is to just be nice (or even decent). Most posts get removed because people aren't following that rule.

It is 2nd week of FNM event in MTG Arena but still no luck for LGS who give codes for card sleeves.
Then call larger stores in the nearest major city. A lot of stores are participating, so I bet you could find another.

Lexie, most of the UAE stores ( never mind the LGS sector ) are closed by Government Order now, and have been closed "under advice" for about two weeks. Finding an active store will be nigh on Impossible for AjBads.

How this is done depends on the store. I would try calling your local game store for details.

Am I the only one who is not interested in the new set? When I saw the new trailer, it didn´t look like Magic, but like Pokemon - catch them all. The plane of biggest and weirdest monsters of all shapes. And they even put Godzilla in there.
This game is for children now. Where is New Phyrexia? Eldrazi? Innistrad? All the dark and beautiful realms? This is the first time I am not interested in the new set. Anyone feels the same?
One of the coolest things about Magic is that there is something for everyone.
... For example, Mothra. Mothra is all for me. I am the Moth Queen.
I don't want one of those "things for everyone" to be licensed cameos—IMO MTG should be about MTG and inclusion of outside I...

One person roping you (or even multiple people for that matter) doesn't mean that we "do nothing". It just means that people are rude and do it. Of course the more matches you play, the more people you'll run into with a bad attitude. People do this kind of thing on every game ever.

Rest assured that we do take action on accounts that are repeatedly reported for roping. Just because you don't see it, or experience it from multiple people, doesn't mean that we don't take it seriously! Report the player so we can look into taking action.

I would have no issue walking into my LGS but of course during these times they are closed. So what then?

You can look at their social media to see if they're participating, and then call or email them.

Nope, just Discord is totally fine!


(Editing to say that if this is your first time using Discord, it is SUPER easy to use and you're going to love it! I have used a LOT of voice clients to play games and Discord is by far my favorite.)

You don't need to go through Discord, unless that is what your local game store of choice is using to communicate with people. If your local game store doesn't link their social media accounts on their website, I suggest trying a game store in the closest major city to you.
This is a terrible event and you should pass this info along. There are a lot of people like me who don't have a local scene. The last card shop around here that did any events closed years ago. What am I supposed to do? Go beg on random Facebook MTG pages?

It doesn't have to be from your local scene if you don't have one, and you don't have to "beg". Just look at their Facebook wall to see if they're involved, or message them like "Hey are you participating in the FNM at Home Arena event?" In my experience, stores are most active on Facebook.

If you deem that it is too much work for a sleeve, then you don't HAVE to go through the steps to get the sleeve. You can still participate in the event. The FNM at Home events is just one of the things we're doing to connect with local game stores in these hard times. We want to build community and connect folks (online). :slightly_smiling_face:

I experiencing black screen issue.
Two updates ago, i receive a black screen with Arena cursor and no sound. I've tried Wizard's fix they put on the forum and it doesn't work. I've uninstalled/reinstalled many times and used Wizard's supposed fix both times with no success.Found a way to fix it? I don’t play Magic for weeks now cause this problem.
I've spent days trying to fix this issue with no success so far... I tried everything and anything in the troubleshooting guide, I use the latest version of parallel desktop because I use a MAC, before it all worked now with new updates no.
Unfortunately Mac isn't supported by us yet, so if you have already tried the suggested update fix I'm not sure how else to help. :slight_frown:

If you are running into a black screen upon update, your computer just needs to be updated! Please download the latest version of Visual C++ vc_redist.x86.exe to fix this. You can do so here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

I have an issue regarding "FNM at HOME" event. I cannot find LGS near me to claim codes for card sleeves due to I am only playing MTG Arena and not paper cards. Kindly help players like me to claim codes by alternative way (e.i. emails).

Keep reaching out to local game stores! I would bet that one within a few hours of your home is participating, though it may not be one in your immediate city. :slightly_smiling_face:

If that page does not say that things have been resolved, then our investigation is still ongoing.

My advice is to stop trying to start a match until this is resolved. Trying to play the game while the game is having issues never goes well. Just keep an eye on the Status page and we'll update folks when things are resolved. No need to reply "same" here. :slightly_smiling_face:
