We’re excited to let everyone know we’re approaching the final stage of completing database sharding and are planning to shard the PC EU megaserver next Tuesday, April 5 so you can reap the performance benefits of sharding as soon as possible.

While we recognize the timing is not ideal as this falls on a day during the Jester’s Festival, we’ll do our best to perform maintenance during a time that causes the least amount of disruption for our global playerbase on PC EU and will plan to begin maintenance around 03:00 BST / 04:00 CEST / 13:00 AEDT. Additionally, completing this maintenance now will allow us to begin work on replacing our megaserver hardware sooner (more news on that as we get closer to it happening).

As with previous maintenances to support sharding, you can expect this to take several hours to complete. Thanks in advance for your patience and we look forward to finally completing this project!

Could you all please check a guild trader and see if any vendor info is appearing now?

Thanks, just confirming we are looking into this on our end.

Where are you in-game that things appear to be darker or more saturated than before?

We're opening all console servers now. Thanks for your patience, everyone!

Hey all, just wanted to let you all know that the team is investigating this issue. We'll let you know if we need additional information, but in the meantime, we're working on figuring out what's causing this to occur.

Hey everyone, just wanted to hop in here and clarify a couple things. We're planning on running a few things on the backend during today's console maintenance to try and ensure this doesn't happen very frequently until we can get a proper fix into a future patch. We did something similar for PC shortly after launch that appeared to help and re-did them yesterday afternoon after the PC incremental, hence why some PC players may have seen an uptick in this issue after the patch went out.

Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v2.29 (PS4) / v1.11 (PS5) and the beginning of the Legacy of the Bretons year-long adventure! This first DLC features two challenging new PvE dungeons, Coral Aerie and Shipwright’s Regret, where you’re tasked with investigating the remnants of the once-proud All Flags Navy and assaulting a costal hideout of the mysterious Ascendant Order. Completing these dungeons also gives you the opportunity to obtain a number of new item sets, collectibles, achievements, and more.

As part of the free base game update, we are excited to add account wide Achievements so an Achievement you earn on one character will be shown as complete on all of your characters. We’ve also added several new PvP item sets that are earned from Rewards of the Worthy and Imperial City, in addition to a unique PvP Outfit Style and an update to PlayStation Trophies.

Hi everyone,

Below, you’ll find a list of issues that we expect to be present when Update 33 launches on consoles tomorrow, March 29, based on issues that occurred during PC launch a couple weeks ago. Please note this list is not comprehensive and only covers issues that are of a higher impact.

The first time you log in after downloading the update, it will likely take longer than expected to get into the game due to backend account updates relating to Account Wide Achievements. Once this completes, all future load times should return to normal.

Your map will occasionally display completed POIs (including World Bosses, Dolmens and Delves) as incomplete. This will be fixed in the first incremental patch.

Occasionally, you may briefly get changed to first person view while in third person view. We are working on a fix for this for a future incremental patch.

There may be rare instances where you could get booted from the game wit... Read more

Hi everyone,

Just to close the book on this thread, our Studio Director Matt Firor posted a detailed postmortem explaining what happened during PC launch to cause these issues and what we plan to do as a result. You can find that thread here.

Update: Maintenance on the PC NA megaserver is now complete.
Comment
We just posted a maintenance announcement here, but wanted to let everyone know we are taking PC NA offline for maintenance today at 1pm EDT in attempts to try and fix these ongoing issues. We anticipate being finished with maintenance by 4pm EDT.

Hey everyone,

Over the past few days, we’ve been actively investigating the ongoing issues that have been mainly affecting PC NA. Each evening as we approach primetime hours, our team has been making adjustments on the backend in attempts to identify what’s causing these issues and try to lessen the impact. We have not yet identified a single root cause, especially given how much more these issues are affecting one server compared to the others. We’ve been logging into the game and experiencing the increased lag and load screens too and we want you to know that finding and fixing what’s causing these issues is our #1 priority right now.

A huge thank you for your ongoing patience as we know this has been very frustrating, and we’ll continue to provide updates in this thread.

Hey all, just a heads up that we just posted a thread about this issue right here. We can confirm there are indeed some issues with the Activity Finder, as many of you have noted, and we are actively making some adjustments in an effort to prevent this from occurring again today.

Hey everyone,

We've been seeing a lot of questions about what types of things are being tracked on the Zone Guide and Map now that Account Wide Achievements have launched on PC. We wanted to provide some clarity on what is tracked on the account vs character level:

Zone Quests, Wayshrines, Points of Interest, Crafting Stations, Mundus Stones, Public Dungeons, Skyshards and Shalidor's Library Books are still character-specific in the Zone Guide.

Delves, Striking Locales, World Events and World Bosses use the Achievement to track progress in the Zone Guide but you will still need to discover these on individual characters on the Map.
Additionally, it's worth mentioning there is currently a bug affecting completed Delves, World Bosses and World Events that are making them display as incomplete. We're working on getting this fixed for a future incremental patch.

Thanks all, this is currently bugged and we are working on getting it fixed.

As @SeaGtGruff noted, this issue should now be fixed and we added the missing 5th Endeavor. Thanks for letting us know, all!

Thanks all, we have a bug documented for Bosmer animations since yesterday's update and will try to get it fixed in a future incremental. Herky Jerky certainly isn't the intended behavior ;)
