Thank you for all the great questions so far, everyone. We are keeping a list to help inform what we need to answer and explain more later. And we will. One thing we do want to clarify today are the questions about seasonal content. Our plans are not to remove content such as quests, stories, and new areas like some other games do when a season is over.

Hey everyone, we've been seeing a recent increase in malicious activity targeting our servers, so we have made adjustments on our end to address this threat. Because of this, you may experience decreased game performance while these adjustments are in place. Please note that this is not related to the datacenter power failure last week. Hey all, just confirming we were seeing this too. I was really missing the "Recent" and "Dev Tracker" in the nav bar for the last few hours. This was related to the ongoing datacenter issue, as our website was down as well (and looks like it's back!) and the nav bar is part of our website.

Thanksgiving is over, We were told we could get an update or at least a small "we're still looking at it" copy pasta. still nothing! its about to be Christmas. should we just give up?
We have a Q&A post prepped and were going to share it today in this thread, then the datacenter power failure happened and honestly it didn't seem like the best time. It is all ready to go, though, and we'll post it tomorrow. This may be getting a little to in the weeds, but one of the reasons more meaty posts and Q&As take a little extra time is we localize them into extended languages (12 not counting English) so that as many of our players as possible can benefit from the answers.

Hey all, we understand with the timing being what it was, why some are speculating that the Crown Store issue and datacenter power failure are connected. They are not, despite the unfortunate timing. When we have a Crown Store issue, at most we lock the Crown Store and push a hotfix. Crown Store fixes, especially those related to pricing, do not usually require downtime. We also want to clarify that anyone who bought the mount at the incorrect cheaper price will get to keep it. We aren't taking it away or actioning anyone. This was a mistake on our end, and all we're doing is fixing the pricing to what we intended. You should see that pricing reflected when we're past this datacenter power failure and servers are back online.

Hey all, we wanted to give you a short update on some fixes and improvements we have in progress for PVP Battlegrounds, following Update 44, as well as respond to just a bit of your related feedback.  First, we wanted to lightly touch on the Update 44 livestream. Sometimes we try new things, and they don't land the way we’d planned. We take these experiences, learn from them, and move forward with the goal of applying those learnings to and making the “next time” better. Part of that process includes listening to our community’s feedback and taking that into consideration as we plan future efforts. We also want to acknowledge that we did set the Update 44 livestream VOD to unlisted on Twitch. While no one on the stream did or said anything wrong, we were seeing an increase in abusive comments and harassment toward our developers as a result and decided to do what was right for them. Why not just turn it off? At least until your testing can be done?
This is fair question and was also the first one we asked when this was first reported. It takes time to push fixes across to completion, between the multiple teams involved, certifications, etc. This isn't something that we are able to hotfix and requires an update. Doing a temp update to effectively undo a fix that is already coming and pivot to another approach would make the actual fix take even longer.

Earlier this year we had the great pleasure of meeting so many of you in Amsterdam when we celebrated the 10-year anniversary of The Elder Scrolls Online. At the time, we had also planned a North American gathering for 2025. While we will continue to celebrate a decade of ESO with in-game content, activities, rewards and more, we will no longer be hosting an additional large-scale in-person event in North America. This was a difficult decision to make – we love hanging with the ESO family! – and we plan to continue holding smaller gatherings in various global locations, including meetups at industry events. Meanwhile, our focus, as always, continues to be on the game itself – on delivering fun, engaging, welcoming and challenging content for longtime and new players alike. Hi @XSTRONG! Thanks for the question. Correct, you cannot play the standard "all game modes" in the 8v8 queues while an event is active that highlights specific game modes.

As a follow-up to this specific piece, we've confirmed that the link in your email is legitimate and part of our tracking. Knowing who clicks on these links (through SendGrid) is one of the ways we can better understand if people are getting our correspondences and if they are effective, and ultimately helps us improve our email efforts and identify any issues. We do appreciate you asking, and it's good to be overly cautious with emails and links that look off, especially this time of year.

Hey all, as a follow up to this, we are still investigating adjustments to reduce the impact of the sound effects of the ability in these cases. As we've delved into the investigation and what is possible, it's become apparent that this will take some time to adjust, test, and implement. Realistically, the work around improving this is going to be included in Update 45 (next year) at the earliest.

Hey all, the old billing emails from last month that some of you received on December 2 were due to an outbound communications error in our billing and account management system following a maintenance on the same day. No one was actually charged in conjunction with these old billing notice emails, and the issue has since been resolved. We're also looking into why the link appeared that way in the email you got, @doright.

This also affects furnishings. I just crafted 15 lamps in my house and it counted as 1.

Hey all, for those of you reporting that Cyrodiil delve bosses are not counting toward the Golden Pursuit, we'd like to ask for a bit more information. We have identified a localization issue with all non-English clients (so French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese) where the "Earn Level" task is incorrectly displaying "Kill X Bosses in Cyrodiil Delves." Because this is a localization mismatch error, killing bosses in Cyrodiil will not progress this particular task - it's looking for earned levels. We have a fix for this lined up for the next incremental patch the week of December 16. If you are killing delve bosses in Cyrodiil and not seeing the general "Kill 5 Delve Bosses" Golden Pursuit progress, we do want to know, please. The boss name would be especially helpful. I'm reporting here that one of the options for the Golden Pursuit is likely not working as intended: I unlocked the "craft 50 items" by doing them in bulk and it worked; I did that directly in my house and the "craft 20 items in a house" counted just 1/20. I tested this a couple times more and it force-required me to craft 1 item at a time; all items I used to craft in bulk I won't have them back and they didn't count. Maybe you could hotfix this for other players? Aside from this, I think I appreciate this Golden Pursuit more than a regular event, and it will keep me busy returning to play more ESO, so... Positive feedback from me :smile:

Hey all, thank you for reporting this. We can confirm that Alchemy and Provisioning multicrafting are not correctly counting toward this Golden Pursuit, and that is not intended. The workaround for now is crafting Alchemy and Provisioning items one at a time when doing so for this Golden Pursuit.
