I think "turtling is now a (maybe) viable strategy" is the intention of the update. Of course adding Diplomacy is going to make the game a little slower and less aggressively rush-oriented.

They are great for team game and I think they are good for free for all games. They still suck 1v1.
To be fair, the game is designed for FFA's. 😜
I like the knight change because it makes sense that they're not so indestructible, but what is the thinking behind letting enemies use non-friendly roads? Logically it makes sense too, but it introduces a completely different approach to the game.. on top of diplomacy.
This is a bug and will be fixed.

Well that's a clever trick to get people to buy the PC version that no one wants because there's no one to play with...
Sadly, only Steam's beta can be fully open. We added more slots to the mobile ones, but we can't make them unlimited.
I think that the cloak needs it’s movement to be slowed by other units (not have sneak), at the moment it feels way to easy to get them into enemy cities. But so far I do really like everything else about them, from mechanics to function to their look. The actual peace treaty and embassy both work perfectly, I think they seem great. Other notes: Mints feel a bit weak. Windmills a bit strong as an enjoyer of late game gaami spam as Polaris using the grow, burn, farm. But overall I’m just happy that you guys are still working hard to develop the game, and that once again most of you’ve added works very well and doesn’t break the game too much.
The movement thing is a hard one, as Cloaks need to be countered, but not so well that they're useless. Enemy ZoC might make Infiltration nigh-impossible and ultimately not worth the effort, which is what we're trying to avoid.

Unrelated question, I was wondering if you guys are planning on buffing Luxidoor, I personally think that would bring a bit of their ‘shine’ back. Love the update though!

Both my wife and I have downloaded the beta (Android) and are able to play with diplomacy in single player games, but when we play multiplayer games against each other, the diplomacy tech is missing.
Multiplayer us a little broken and is inconsistent

It has happened to me a few times as well.
At least once when entering tile next to clouds ; and at least once when attempting to upgrade (but I feel like this should be on purpose tbh).
Neither of these things are intentional. We'll get them fixed.

The normal removing of all units is intentional. I wrote the dev diary. :P
Which version has diplomacy? I see 2.0.65 on TestFlight, doesn’t have diplomacy tech
Yeah, because IOS hasn't been approved yet and thus, not released.
