You guys are always "working on it" and "looking into it" but at the end of the day all we see is lots more scummy monetization and few remedies for core issues.

Oh, and disable the f**king animated banners until they don't cause freezes.

Oh, you're saying you want action more than words? Geez. I didn't know this about players. Maybe I should make a Twitter thread about this very conundrum. (In case the joking tone isn't clear—I hear ya man)

The facebook comment wasn't going to sit well with most people after the game had been literally unplayable for several weeks with basically silence from you and still not working after their most recent ''fix'', even as i type this to you now. For you to compare a few hrs downtime on FB that happens once in a blue moon to their apparent incompetence on stability we frequently endure and your inability to micromanage your community properly... It was in bad taste, disrespectful and condescending, from Respawns director of comms no less..

I don't disagree most in the community don't know how to fix some of the issues as it's not their job to, but they highlighted them for 3 years with plenty of time to be addressed or to be communicated t...

I wasn't joking at all, I think he should go find a large rock—maybe even a boulder—and make a real attempt at punting that thing.

You're making like 10 different points in your post, and you referring to the "what makes apex tick" article as "wordplay" kinda makes me think you won't take any answer seriously, so I'm hesitant to respond. If you have one specific question you'd like to discuss sincerely, please share it and I'll try my best.

System limitation and by design sound to me to be directly conflicting ideas. Would you be able to expand on either why it's a limitation or the thought process as to why it was designed this way in the first place?

The way I understood it, the monetization team wanted to be able to avoid the bundle issue but literally couldn't this time around for code reasons. The code change that will allow them to avoid the issue in the future ships with S11. Hope that makes sense

Good morning. Is Wattson's ultimate not blocking throwables consistently like it used to going to be fixed soon? Or is it currently a low priority as the rumoured Wattson rework is getting close to completion (in which case the pylon might not be a thing any more)?

Team's working on the ult fix now. Unsure timing for fix.

Can't share anything about buffs/changes

Smurfing is a tough one—I've worked on a few games that struggled with it. I think it's one of those things that gets worse over time, as the "median skill" of players who've been around a while goes up. We actually already do some stuff to detect smurfs after a few games and put them with less new players, but I can imagine us putting more resources toward this problem if it keeps becoming worse.

Can I ask, why'd you reference two separate posts I made—paraphrasing them to support your point—without linking to them to show what I actually said? Seems kinda dishonest, don't you think?

IDK I wish the "meta" of how people treat each other on the internet was better all around. But right now really nasty comments like this guy get 30 upvotes (as of this post). As you can tell from the thread, I think the current state of things will continue until we can deliver some needed fixes.

The Xbox situation is rough. Team is very aware though. Hopeful for a fix but no exact date I can share or anything.

I’ve experienced it in my own field of work too, just know despite a lot of the immature and toxic comments a lot of people here support y’all and know this shit ain’t easy. Good luck addressing the issues on your collective plates

Appreciate it. I think we get a lot of deserved criticism but hope the vibe on Reddit can go back to "we're in it together" at some point. Lot of good people trying their best to make the game as great as possible.

Is the next client-update will be the Season 11 update (Nov 2nd)?

Do you guys plan to make an "All (current) Legend editions bundle"? Would be nice to buy them in 1 package to have all (Bloodhound..Lifeline.. so on & Bangalore).

Do you think Wraith will have her own edition bundle, or her skin (that egyptian looking like) is the one in the "Champion Edition"?

Not sure if you can confirm or say anything, but any ranked changes coming next Season? Hoping for team KP & rank demotion from Diamond to to Plat, and Masters to Diamond.

Yeah exact date could slip a bit of course but early Nov is the plan

Idk! I like the idea tho

We're still kind of playing around with Champion Editions, so unsure whether/when a Wraith one would happen. Why do you ask?

It's an issue we're aware of but don't have a fix for yet unfortunately.

Personally I can’t stand the guy. Comes off as a massive dick to me. He made his comment about Facebook when it was shitting itself that was a dig at people complaining about the state of Apex, then backpedaled as soon as people got pissed at him for it, basically saying “I didn’t mean it, I was trying to make some positivity out of a bad situation”. And now here he’s throwing himself a little pity party. Dude can go f**k himself imo.

Go kick rocks bro.

You’re making that up. Never happened. I did make a tweet pointing out that the July 4 hackers achieved nothing BESIDES making devs come in on a weekend. But the “you should be thankful” but is pure dishonesty from you.

Updates happen all the time—I feel like you're asking about server hardware, though, which most of our issues particularly recently have been software related. I'm not the best person to explain it like an expert but the big awful wave of issues with the 10.1 patch in particular was a series of unforeseen problems caused by the patch itself. Live service can be hard. Only thing you can do is learn from experience and look for ways to make it better going forward.

No bad vibes intended, I love the game too, man. May we both continue trucking successfully, godspeed

The server issues we've had have been a source of a lot real pain for players and for us—sometimes cracking a joke is a way to deal with the pain. All love for you guys. Hopefully some of you saw the intended self-deprecating humor in that post.
