Yes, the option says "remove permanently", but this is not the case.

You simply remove the game's entry from your library. The game key still is binded to your account. Repurchasing does not work because you would get the same key. You also can't remove Valheim on Steam, buy it again from a third party keyseller and redeem it on the same Steam Account.

In any case, why would you want to remove a game from your account?!

If you have bought Valheim and removed it from your library, simply add it back on the Steam Support site (link above).

Your savegame is saved in the Steam Cloud (if enabled), but it's always better to back-up your savefiles manually (especially when formatting drives, etc).

Sorry to say, but these threads contribute to that "problem" and lead to exactly the opposite: More discussion about mentioned statements.

Please don't be part of the problem. Ignore such comments, don't engage with trolls and report rule breaking activities. That's all we ask you to do. Thank you!

Sorry to disappoint, but the devs will not introduce such a functionality. It would require a complete overhaul of the game terrain system.

It will most likely be added; It's on the wishlist (just like more advanced settings for server owners).

No one can answer this question, it depends on too many circumstances.

Currently, you can't. A fix is on the way tho!

This "exploit" is months old actually, devs should be aware, but don't ask me why it's not fixed yet.

Pause only works in singleplayer and on multiplayer servers/dedicated servers when no one else is logged into the server, like already stated.

Nope. You just might not notice it that much if you already crafted and used better gear.

We have a guide on discord.

If I use mods, will I be able to play when the game updates?
Every time we update the game, many mods that players use become incompatible with the game. Until your mods have been updated by the creators they will most likely not work with Valheim. To make sure you don’t lose anything, it’s a good idea to backup your worlds and characters [C:\Users\ \AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim] where mods are used before downloading new updates. In order to be certain that you can play larger updates right away, you should also have your mods (temporarily) removed.

How do I disable most mods so I can play the latest version of the game?
Go to steamapps\common\Valheim and move, delete or rename doorstop_config.ini file

How to completely delete most mods?
Go to the above folder and delete all folders EXCEPT [MonoBleedingEdge] and [Valheim_Data]
And also delete all files EXCEPT steam_appid, UnityCrashHandler64, UnityPl...

Either disable mods until modmakers can update, validate game files to make sure all files installed correctly. or reach out on discord / our official QA site
