What an awesome write-up! Thanks for the read. The biggest thing we’ll be targeting is helping Yoru feel more impactful from round to round and the changes hope to push him further into the mastermind play style. If it’s worth anything one of the things you said was true :)

Hey, thanks for the post. We have a few of these things on our backlog for fixes but I will take a look once I'm back at work tomorrow.

(half kidding, I really appreciate you and the other Rioters who are active in the community <3! And I definitely will expand this!)

yes. granted. thank you.

I'll add one on here - be careful with how many words and the volume of your voice too! Sometimes teammates are giving valid info while I'm trying to clutch but their voice masks relevant game audio like footsteps.

I appreciate you. You should consider expanding on this, clearly players would find value.

I've considered this and spoken with quite a few jd/mba lawyers who've done it and regular MBA students. Since I have a business degree already in finance, the MBA would be a lot of repeat of the curriculum I've done and would mostly exist as a title, though I would love to have it if it made sense. Perhaps something I consider if I see the value in it vs the opportunity cost of working one year. Bar review as well will have to be a consideration of how I use my precious time, considering I will be older than many of my peers entering law school to begin with.

That's a good point. My undergrad degree wasn't business related at all, so my experience trying to market myself as a JD was a little different.

Man, the Bar. I wiped that from my memory mostly but I do remember it was so much work and I'm glad I took a prep course. Never ever want to take another bar exam again.

Btw, what's your IGN and tag (like Name#123)? I'd like to send you a fist bump buddy if you don't already have one.

Preeti. Thank you so dearly much for your kind words and authenticity. It would be a dream to work for Riot as legal counsel and know that you may get a PM in a few years out of the blue :) consider this my networking down payment now as gaming conferences and conventions may be a bit difficult to find during a pandemic ;) and i’ve got a ways to go before doing the right networking!

I’m particularly fascinated by both sides of your career because you stated something about your father and going into law knowing that you may not always be in law in some random interview I read earlier. I relate to that and think that even if I did a similar path as you (not being in law after a few years) I would not regret the school experience and legal knowledge I gain following law school, even if it’s mostly a lot of painful studying. I tend to not look back on my past with negativity, but of what I gained and what I can take (law degrees are practical right!?!) and knowing that a mount...

Hi - quick response because I've been busy all day with this issue (still working on it).

I recommend a 4-year JD/MBA program if you may want to eventually leave law. Outside of law, I think the JD isn't valued as much as the MBA. And it's just one year extra but opens up a lot more doors for you. One more year sounds like a lot, but your career is probably still at least 30-35 more years of work!

Could a primate pose a challenge to the agents of VALORANT? Don’t dismiss it until you’ve seen this particular monkey...

On November 17, Hulu will introduce a new adult animated series based upon the popular Marvel digital comic, Hit-Monkey. The series follows a Japanese snow monkey (voiced by Fred Tatasciore) who, aided by the ghost of an American assassin (Jason Sudeikis), goes on a quest to render revenge as an infamous “killer of killers.” The show will also star George Takei, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, and Nobi Nakanishi.

The official “Marvel’s Hit-Monkey” trailer will debut during the live broadcast of the VALORANT Last Chance Qualifiers Grand Final on Sunday, October 17. The event stream will also feature several exclusive teasers and mentions fans won’t want to miss.

Here’s a little teaser of what’s to come during the Grand Final:

Masters: Berlin is behind us. Now, it’s time to find out which team will punch North America's final ticket to the event we’ve all been waiting for — VALORANT Champions in Berlin.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch North America’s Last Chance Qualifier, which kicks off October 12 and runs through October 17.

Tournament Overview

NA LCQ is an invite-only 8-team LAN tournament where the winner will walk away with a ticket directly to VALORANT Champions 2021. With Sentinels and Envy through to Champions already, the stage is set for the remaining top eight North American teams to battle it out to determine the last team standing.

We built this tournament to include the two teams who reached the Grand Final of the VALORANT Oceania Tour 2021: Championship, ORDER and Chiefs Esports Club, and who had thus earned the right to participate in the LCQ. However, due to COVID-19 regulations, travel documentation issues, and additional complex...

Hi, I’m Joe Lansford, one of the level designers on VALORANT. Now that Fracture has entered the fray, the maps team wanted to take a moment to talk about its creation.

As a refresher, our maps design philosophy since day one on VALORANT is to push each map in a specific direction, instead of trying to accommodate ideal situations for each of the wild number of permutations that our weapons and abilities create. We build each map with a different hook that presents unique scenarios for you to problem solve.

We proposed the same challenge with Fracture and today Brian Yam, one of the lead artists on the maps team, will join me to break it down for you.

EARLY FISSURES - THE DESIGN QUESTION

You may have read by now that we started with the question, “what if attackers could pinch defenders from both sides of the map?” This exploration led to the “H-Shape” layout, ziplines, the four orbs, quadrants, and just about everything e...
