VALORANT North American Esports and Iconic Events Releasing are excited to be partnering up on a new initiative to bring the North American Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) Grand Final to Cinemark Theatres and select movie theaters nationwide!

With Sentinels and Envy already locked in to VALORANT Champions, there’s only one spot up for grabs and eight North American teams and two Oceania teams will be going head-to-head to claim it.

You’ll be able to see the last two teams standing, catch every second of the LCQ Grand Final action, and find out which team punches their ticket to VALORANT Champions on the big screen on October 17.

“Iconic Events Releasing is thrilled to bring the VALORANT LCQ to movie theaters through our partnership with Cinemark,” said Iconic CEO Steve Bunnell. “Movie theaters offer a safe and inclusive experience for fans across the US to watch these talented players battle it out live in one of the most exciting esports competitions of the year.”...

We did some digging and think we have corrected a problem that would have been kicking in towards Optus mainly around peak time. I need to stress if you're having issues like this, player support tickets help and if you're not getting satisfaction there, sending me a ticket number will help me chase it up from our side. Monitoring the entire Internet is not an exact science and while work on systems to get better at it constantly, having the support queues used to grab our attention to specific issues can help shine a light on things we are missing.

Is there a reason that I’m getting 20% packet loss in about a third of my games? It last the whole match and in those matches my teammates say they’re getting it too.

If you're on Optus - yes. We just found something on our interconnect with them and we'll have it fixed today, even if we turn it off for a while and your ping goes up slightly.

My biggest advice is take it slow, don't over-inform instead show him, and give him time. I think the idea that age is a barrier is the wrong way to approach things, especially when you have a CSGO amateur team that's full of 70+ players.

The one statistic that I like to pull out, when people talk about age or skill, is this; Since I've been working on games one of the largest indicators of skill is time invested into a game. When I've worked on other projects it was clear that the players who played the most were also the highest MMR. So if your dad is willing to put in the time, and he is willing to put up with the difficulties of learning the game, I think he will be fine! I think taking it slow, and having you help and support him is great! While he may not be able to be a pro player, he can still become very good at the game and have fun!

So my advice, let him play the game and help him where needed! If someone wants to do something in life they will adapt to b...

I definitely do not think the dash forward is a bad idea, what so ever but think there’s some replies to this thread that are better approaches for helping with the problems players have specifically around potency of value on her kit when using it reactively. There’s a lot to the problem and we’re going to be continuing to assess the roster for any future changes. Really appreciate all the feedback and ideas y’all are coming up with!

I think altering the way it looks is better. I prefer to have the line visible there ESPECIALLY as a spectator, because I might not be looking at the map for whatever reason before viper places the wall. Ifyou remove it on death there is a situation where sometimes I'd wonder, "where did the viper play this round/shoot her wall from?" or "that was an interesting wall placement.", and if she's dead I wouldn't be able to get that information for myself.

Yeah it's possible that fully removing it would have downsides and it would be better to take a different tactic - but I would rely on our visual designers/UX people for the actual tactic as I'm not trained or experienced in that field.

Thanks for the feedback RE: the viper wall. I agree the minimap can get a little cluttered and I'll ask around and see how feasible it would be to remove Viper's Toxic Screen from the minimap after she dies (likely for Observers only but I can inquire on the other cases)
