Skeletons shouldn’t receive any friendly fire, if you’ve got a recording or some kind of evidence could you make a bug report on the forums?
Hi @Uncle_Okri,
This is pretty strange! Curious, does the issue persist after restarting the Steam client/your PC?
Also, if you unsubscribe and re-subscribe to your mods one-by-one is any specific mod causing this issue to occur after subscribing? or this the Workshop Mods menu always appearing like this for you?
Hi @Grondovol,
Hm okay, could you please provide a screenshot of your Apply Illusion crafting screen for the following characters and weapons?
Bardin - Handgun
Kruber - Repeater Handgun
Kerillian - Longbow
Saltzpyre - Crossbow
Sienna - Bolt Staff
Thank you in advance.
I’ve raised this crash in our database for investigation. Thank you for the report!
Hi @Huey2000,
I responded to your support ticket, but I’ll reply here also!
There appears to be an issue with your FSR settings. Can you please try the following -
Delete your Vermintide 2 AppData directory:
(Please note, by doing so you will lose any custom configurations/settings e.g. keybinds)
Clean reinstall of your GPU drivers:

We’ve checked your account in the backend and have found the challenges marked as completed, with the weapon skin rewards unlocked correctly.
Perhaps there was a temporary backend issue, or desync. Can you please check again and let me know?
Hi @JarJarBlunts,
Thanks for the update - that’s quite unusual!
We’re in a difficult spot, as it’s no longer possible for us to query this behaviour with Easy Anti-Cheat support.
The only additional thing I can suggest, would be to try installing Vermintide 2 and Easy Anti-Cheat on a different drive (if possible), to determine if there’s any odd data corruption occuring with the installs on a specific drive.
Weird indeed! Though I’m glad to hear that the issue has resolved itself
Hi @loftie,
Sorry to hear the issue is persisting.
I can only really recommend to ensure you have the latest Windows updates and Anti-Virus updates installed, and to try running through our Easy Anti-Cheat solutions a further time (in case of a different outcome).
As the culprit appears to be sqlite3.dll it may be worth researching this online, and seeing if there are any similar issues and solutions available - perhaps with a replacement .dll. Unfortunately, I’m not able to advise further on this though.
At this stage, I would usually point you towards Easy Anti-Cheat support, however they are sadly no longer accepting support tickets.
Apologies that I’ve been unable to be of more help ...
To build the PSO’s we need to know both the mesh data and the shaders, and in our engine thisis decoupled and thus needs to be built in runtime. So in some sense we can control this by coupling meshes and shaders but this reduce the flexibility when building games.
In darktide we have done several improvements to fix this. We built alot of the pso’s directly in the launcher by figuring out what meshes and shaders we use. (note im not a expert in this field).
I can check with my colleague how hard it would be to move some of this changes.
Hey, we did actually! We posted on reddit, Steam, socials, and Discord. I did just receive access to the Xbox and Playstation news portals, so if it rolls around again, I’ll work on posting them there, too!
Edit: Seems we missed the forums. We’ll work on adding it here too, for next time.
Consoles had access to the event too if they donated. Hopefully we’ll have more charity events later.
Thanks for the update! Good news so far then. Hopefully this has done the trick
Hi @JarJarBlunts,
Sorry to hear the solutions above haven’t worked.
I am admittedly stumped by this! From what you’ve told me, it appears you’ve exhausted all of the solutions that we suggest in this scenario.
I would usually point you to Easy Anti-Cheat support, but unfortunately they are no longer accepting support tickets.
In this case, all I can recommend to do is look out for any specific error messages, and perhaps to try running through our EAC solutions a further time (in case you get a different outcome).
Also, you mentioned being able to play for a number of days before the issue started. Did anything change during this time? Any updates to your PC? e.g. OS update, Anti-Virus update etc.? This may be something worth exploring if so.

Read moreHi @loftie,
What you describe makes sense, as Vermintide 2 currently uses a different version of Easy Anti-Cheat to EOS.
Please let me know how you get on after the reinstall.
Thanks all for your reports and console logs. It has been greatly helpful!
From these logs we’ve been able to determine what we believe is the underlying issue (not actually mod-related) and we’re cooking up a fix internally.
Hopefully we’ll have this issue resolved soon. I’ll keep you posted.
