I made Paul Merton a cup of tea once.
I went to school with Gareth Barry.
I saw Eddie Izzard at a shopping mall but he was on the phone and I didn’t wanna be that guy
The queen was driven past my house? Does that count?
I… Yeah no that’s it. I guess the answer is ‘No’.
I’m excluding industry names as I feel it’s cheating but I’ve met folks like Mike Morhaime, Frank Pierce and co. - and had soundtracks signed by the legend Russel Brower. I don’t count them as technically they were colleagues so meeting them is cheating
It’s been a while since an OTF! No excuses, I’ve been lazy.
For whatever reason, I was cleaning the coffee machine and this question popped into my head.
My earliest memory of meeting a “celebrity” was as a child, meeting Matthew Kelly, who hosted a TV show called Stars In Their Eyes here in the UK… it was a rather cringeworthy singing contest in which people would impersonate showbiz stars. He was visiting my primary (elementary) school. Why? I have no idea, but I remember being really excited.
Later in life I met Bam Margera and some other members of the CKY crew outside a show which was cool because I was BIG into Jackass/Viva La Bam/etc.
So! Tell me, have you ever met a celebrity and who was it? Share your stories!
@Masterwetra We’ve looked into it, and unfortunately it doesn’t seem that we can host these bundles in some regions due to Valve limitations, our humblest apologies.
Unfortunately I don’t have any recommendations for you at this time other than what’s lised here: https://fatshark.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360007695698--Xbox-One-PS4-How-to-Resolve-Most-Connectivity-Errors
But based on you being able to play on Xbox One with no issues, the above is unlikely to be helpful.
I’ve raised this with our Console Developers anyhow.
I don’t think we’ve interacted with this system yet, it kind of sprung up on us! I’ll have a poke about!
Did you try all of the solutions in the article? What were your temperatures like?
Why is the Vermintide 1 stuff not on sale (not for me, I already have everything), some friends were interested in a small Vermintide 1 revival but at 70 Euros (20% bundle discount) most said that is too much money for a few fun hours
Or will it go on sale during the End(times) of Spooktober?
Unfortunately I’m not allowed to divulge any information on planned sales.
Hey @FatsharkLev, is there any reason why we can’t gift the hat bundles on Steam? I was trying to gift it to a friend as a surprise but the gift to a friend button has been greyed out.
The anniversary bundle prices adjust based on what you already own. So, if you own any hats already in the bundle it will be a reduced price. Due to this, they are personalised and can’t be gifted. Sorry!
If you follow the link SirKruber has linked above and submit a ticket, then we can certainly sort a progress reset for you.
There’s potential for discussion to be had here, but keep it civil onwards please all.
Ah okay! Apologies for the inconvenience.
I’ve flagged this internally now and we’re looking into it. I’ll update here once I know more!
Hi Masterwetra,
The anniversary discount bundles should be accessible via searching the Steam store - try a search for “vermintide bundle”
There’s a possibility they might not show for all regions. So, alternatively, you can select any of the hats in your list and you should be able to access the anniversary bundles in the store description.
Hope this helps!

Apologies if I’ve misunderstood, but how does it behave when you attempt to connect to others?
Glad to hear that Np!
I totally agree about the unhealthy cramming. The timer idea sounds real nice, especially for peop...
Read more5th year of Vermintide as a series, not of vermintide 2.
I’m pretty happy about this event, when’s the last time we got a hat during one of these? I don’t think there’s any need to go crazy over it or the announcement or anything, but it’s a nice gift and a good occasion to celebrate the game’s success.
Also, A Quiet Drink! Neat!
I’m still hoping we get a Geheimnisnacht after this, too!
Welcome to the 5-Year Anniversary of Vermintide. 5 years ago we were nervously staring at the button to get the first game in this amazing series live. The moments directly after pressing the button were filled with joy, pride, nervousness, excitement and with a slight aftertaste of panic. What if you did not like our little rat-smashing simulator? We were in for a surprise, you loved it! Together we ventured through Stormdorf, slayed rats in Karak Azgaraz, and fell through the floor in Drachenfels.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was our next adventure, and we would be lying if we said that we were not equally...
