Could you please try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu down to 6, and see if there’s any improvement please?
Does it persist after pressing ESC a couple of times?

We often see the RECV_ERROR when a player is using the IPv6 protocol. In this situation, you may need to contact your ISP and request that they switch you to IPv4.
Only thing that comes to mind is that it’s possible you or your friends are playing on the Modded realm.
When you open the launcher, make sure your launcher says you are on the “Official Realm”, instead of the “Modded Realm”.
All players need to be on the same realm to play together.
The error displayed in your console log appears to be the RECV_ERROR, is that the error you experience consistently?
Are you referring to the changes made by Steam in 2018, or have they made more recent changes? If I recall correctly, Steam did eventually resolve the issues referenced in that post.
Which country are you playing from and what is your ‘Download Region’ set to?
Any chance you could upload the associated console log too please?

Your best bet would be to reach out to a local hardware expert for assistance, or to the vendor of the PC if it was purchased pre-built. Whoa, I’m pretty sure this isn’t called for. Yes, maybe they could have phrased their disagreement with your suggestions/feedback in a more friendly, less baiting manner, but this kind of response just isn’t on. There’s plenty of other more constructive comments you can get involved with, and ignore the ‘troll’.
