This is quite unusual! and doesn’t appear to be something widely reported. It’s a shot in the dark, but do you use any mods? If so, can you please try disabling them and see if the issue persists?
Otherwise, I it may also be a local issue with your installation.
You can try verfying integrity of game files:
Or, a clean reinstallation of Vermintide 2:

Your new log shows a non-descript Access Violation type crash, but unfortunately doesn’t indicate the exact cause.
I recommend to run through our general crash solutions, here:

Hi @zeusfaber,
Your logs show the following error/exit codes 0xFA718003 and 0xc0000005, both of which usually indicate a conflict with Anti-Virus/Firewall software.
I recommend checking out the following articles and ensuring you have appropriate exceptions in place for both Vermintide 2 and Easy Anti-Cheat:

The first crash is GPU-related, though it’s not clear as to why. I can see you have up-to-date drivers and you’ve mentioned having tried several solutions already. I can only recommend to try our other solutions if you haven’t already e.g. disabling background apps, changing DirectX version, lowering worker threads etc. in our article, here:

Read moreHi Mackeviallean. Let’s start by making sure there isn’t some other program interfering with your input. A ‘Selective Startup’ can help diagnose whether a background application is resulting in your issue. This can be performed by:
Should you still lose control, then we know it isn’t another application at fault. However, if the issue no longer persists after having performed the Selective Startup, you will need to re-enable each of your usual background applications one-by-one until the problem reoccurs, to determine which is interfering with your character movement.
I don’t think the next one is from a past event, but worth getting!
I’ve added the skins to your account. Enjoy!
Spatnack is correct here. It will be fixed in a hotfix rolling out in the coming weeks. It’s in your inventory, it just doesn’t show in the UI at present for some users.
Not this year; there was a new version at the beginning of this year’s GotWF, though!
Hi Lanibean. Unfortunately, we don’t support the Steam Deck in any official capacity. There is a small community of Steam Deck/Linux users that may be able to chime in and help. Sorry I don’t have any good news or information for you.
Oh no! I’m sorry to say we don’t yet have a fix for this error Yanderenoelle. Evidently it has something to do with using an older version of Windows 10, and until we can resolve it, the only known workaround is to update Windows 10 or make the jump to Windows 11.
I’ve taken a look and both illusions are registered to your account successfully. As mentioned above, it is currently a known bug that the daggers illusion appears to be locked for some players, and we hope to have it fixed shortly after our people return from the holidays. I don’t believe the javelin illusion was affected by the bug but I’ll let them know.
