It’s my understanding you will have plenty of time to complete it once the patch is shipped, as we’re wary people will be seriously upset otherwise!

I appreciate it’s been a long time :frowning: It’s my understanding this will be patched in early June. I will see what other options we have.

@Ninaran, yep this scales with the amount of players. So, there is always an increase of some kind depending on the amount of bots.

@All just an update on this, we’ve had some internal discussions about increasing the boosted Pilgrim’s Coins values with bots… watch this space.

Some other information I thought may be useful to share, is that bots will follow the power-level of the host. When the host upgrades weapons, then all of the bots will gain the same power increase. So, it’s particularly important for the host to end with higher tier weapons to boost the bots.

Your installation is incomplete/corrupted - have you tried the Verify Integrity of Game Files option?:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

Thank you for letting us know - we’ll have a look in to these!

Have asked - will report back to you!

That should solve it. Let me know if the issue persists after enabling it.

There will be an upcoming optimisation patch, especially with the recent influx of performance complaints, so I can only recommend holding out for that. Failing that, or if you’d rather not wait - providing Vermintide 2 was purchased via Steam, I’m happy to contact them and request that they issue you a refund.

Fingers crossed for you.

This does appear to be GPU-related, at least from one of the logs. There are some other solutions to try here: [PC] How to Resolve GPU Crashes – Fatshark

The next time this occurs, please include a crash report or associated console log. Thank you! [PC] How to Provide a Crash Report or Console Log – Fatshark

Sorry to hear this, we are somewhat limited here due to you being on a mobile connection. :frowning:

I presume broadband isn’t an option at the moment?

Comment

From what I’m understanding, it was because our developers thought Double Buffering produced better results

Comment

Sorry for the delay, I have answers for you:

  1. We do use Flip Model - it’s a requirement for DirectX 12
  2. We use Double Buffering, but you can see how you like Triple Buffering by adding this line into the user_settings.config:
    buffer_count = 3
An absent-minded man of mysteries, Franz Lohner relies on his bulging journal to keep track of occurrences, intrigues and arguments around Taal's Horn Keep. Sometimes his notes are even useful, believe it or not. The Franz Lohner Chronicles are extracts from that journal.

Franz Lohner's Chronicle - The Giver of Gifts Rotbloods. It’s always those bleeding Rotbloods, ain’t it? Now, I’m not saying there’s a spy in our midst – though I wouldn’t put it beyond the bounds of possibility – but they do always seem to be snapping at our heels. Doesn’t help, of course, that they’re currently in possession of much of the territory around the Citadel of Eternity, but that don’t make it any less frustrating. Maybe they’re attracted by the smell?

(Note to self, make sure Kruber bathes more often. Or at all.)

Anyway, it’s always been a bit of a puzzle to me that anyone – Rotbloods included – would worship Nurgle. It’s not like doing so keeps you safe from plague, is... Read more

The game is primarily co-op! That's our focus and one of the core pillars we design around.

As for a campaign, not in the sense you might be expecting (as in, no single track story line to follow with a buddy) but there's a variety of missions to complete. The game is designed around repeating those missions more than once and levelling up both your chosen hero (or heroes) and your own personal skill in order to increase the game's difficulty.
